The Barreleye is one of the three new mythical fishes introduced in the latest expansion update of Roblox Fisch. The fish is covered in spikes, has white colored fins, and green glowing eyes, which seem straight out of a horror movie. While the fish wasn’t previously spawning, it has now been fixed in the latest update. So, with that done, let’s teach you how to find and catch the Barreleye in Roblox Fisch for your bestiary collection.
Where to Get the Barreleye in Fisch
The Barreleye is a transparent fish native to The Depths Bestiary located in Vertigo. To access the Vertigo, you need to locate a Strange Whirlpool first. You will be notified with a message on top of the screen once a Strange Whirlpool appears in the game.
Although you don’t know where exactly to look for this whirlpool, you can easily identify it by the sky-high line aura rising from the ocean surface. Once you discover the whirlpool, call in your shipwright head to it, and then follow the steps below:
- Leave your boat and jump inside it to reach the Vertigo.
- Here, you will encounter an NPC named Synth and a deep pit ahead. Jump inside
- At the bottom of the pit, there will be some red stones. Climb them to reach the huge black door leading to The Depths.
- To open this door, you must complete the Vertigo Bestiary and have the Depths Key.
- Once you show your progress and the Depths Key to the NPC (The Keeper) sitting beside the door, it will open with a smoky animation.
- Head inside, jump on the floating stones to reach the next platform, and through the narrow passage, you will reach The Depths.
You may fish anywhere in this region to obtain the Barreleye Fish; however, you must fulfill some conditions, which are explained in the next section.
How to Catch the Barreleye in Fisch
To get this fish, you must come prepared with your favorite bait and fish when it has the best chance of spawning. The most preferable time to fish is at night in the summer. There is no particular weather condition.
However, the Barreleye is attracted to Deep Coral Baits. Deep Corals are only found in the Coral Geodes that can be caught in the Desolate Deep Bestiary or bought from the Merchant preset there. You may also redeem the latest Fisch Codes to claim some coral geodes for free.
Once you reach the Depths Bestiary, you may start fishing with any end-game rods to catch the Barreleye. Remember, when the fish gets caught, it will apply a -15% progress speed on your rod. So, make sure you use a rod with great Resilience or control stats. I recommend going for the Sunken Rod or the latest Rod of the Depths to simplify this process.
