This new puzzle mechanic can be quite challenging for some, and it doesn’t have a hint system to help players find the answer. How to Start Janus’ Maze Mission in Honkai Star Rail 3.1
Janus’ Puzzle is one of the new missions added in the Honkai Star Rail 3.1 update. This mission can be played after completing the HSR 3.1 Trailblazing mission.
To play this mission, head to the Archive of Prophecies in the “Sanctum of Prophecy” Janusopolis of Amphoreus. Here, speak with Priest Monnta to begin the Janus’ Maze mission. He will point you to start the Janus’ Maze and from there on you must finish the following puzzles.
HSR 3.1 Janus’ Maze Puzzle Solutions
Here are all the solutions for the Janus’ Maze puzzle. Simply follow the GIFs shown below to solve the puzzle and speak with Priest Monnta when prompted to deliver the prophecies and you will be able to complete the mission.
Janus’ Maze Puzzle 1
For the first puzzle, simply keep turning the maze and the ball will automatically exit it because of the momentum.
Janus’ Maze Puzzle 2
The second puzzle is a bit tricky, keep turning the maze until you reach the last corner. Then, stop turning abruptly and the momentum will force the ball to slide outside.
Janus’ Maze Puzzle 3
In the third puzzle, you will have to keep turning and then be very delicate right before the exit to make the ball slot into the next block.
Janus’ Maze Puzzle 4
In the fourth puzzle, start slowly and let the ball trickle over the first barrier, and then stop turning to guide the ball outside from the momentum.
Janus’ Maze Puzzle 5
The fifth puzzle is a bit difficult as you must time it correctly with the moving blockers. If timed correctly, you can complete this puzzle in seconds.

Keep turning the maze in puzzle 6 and guide the ball to the other exit. Make sure to trickle it over the other end to make it exit.

In the seventh puzzle, using the middle blocker to guide the ball to the outside.

The eight blocker is also a fair bit tricky as you need to slow down the maze the moment it lands on the double-armed area and let it trickle over to the exit.

The nineth puzzle may look simple, but it was the hardest to time correctly. Keep a lookout at the rotating blocker and trickle the ball over towards the exit at the moment the middle blocker rotates. Hit the middle blocker to guide the ball to the outside.
