Grow a Garden has numerous timed and a few exclusive events that boost the chances of getting various mutations in the game. While some can provide a small multiplier, others can increase the sale value of your fruits by up to a whopping 120 times. However, with so many events in the game, it can be confusing to know which does what. Well, we decided to do the heavy lifting for you. So let’s dive in together as we list out all Grow a Garden weather events and what they give you here.
Permanent Weather Events in Grow a Garden
As the name suggests, the weather events given in the list below always happen during regular gameplay and don’t depend on any specific update. That said, the Grow a Garden permanent weather events are:
1. Rain
Rain is one of the most common weather events in Grow a Garden. As expected, the sky turns cloudy and dark, and rain pours all over the play area. It boosts the chances of giving your plants the Wet mutation (2x sale value).

Furthermore, this event can increase the growth rate of the plants in your garden, and later on, the wet mutated plants can combine with the chilled ones to create a Frozen mutation.
2. Thunderstorm
Thunderstorms are a rare occurrence in Grow a Garden. As such, it also comes with great perks. During this event, the sky turns a shade of grey, as in rain, and lightning sparks occasionally fall on random fruits.

These lightning sparks will apply the Shocked mutation on your fruits, increasing their price by 100x. Moreover, there’s a 50% chance of applying the wet mutation. And lastly, you also get a sweet 50% bonus growth speed on your plant!
3. Frost
The Frost event occurs more rarely than rain, but frequently than thunderstorms. During this Grow a Garden event, the environment turns pale, with snow falling from above, and you might notice a shivering animation on your avatar.

This event boosts the chance of getting the Chilled mutation (2x sale value). However, if fruits in your garden already have the Wet mutation (10x sale value), you have a higher chance of getting the Frozen one too. As before, you will also get a 50% growth speed on your crops.
4. Night
The weather in the game used to be sunny until the Grow a Garden Lunar event was introduced. During the event, the Moon rose in the sky, and for the next 10 minutes, all your plants have a boosted chance of getting the Moonlit mutation, giving crops 2x sale value.

Furthermore, you can increase this chance by placing the Night staff tool in your plots. So once night falls in Grow a Garden, make sure you get the most out of it.
5. Meteor Shower
The Meteor Shower mostly occurs at night. During this time, meteors tend to fall from the sky and hit plants.

The ones that get hit get the Celestial mutation (120x sale value). Although it stays for just 10 minutes, you can always boost your chances of getting this mutation by placing the Star Caller tool in your garden.
Limited-Time Weather Events in Grow a Garden
Now that you know all the permanent events in the game that happen at regular intervals, it’s time to check out all the temporary ones. These Grow a Garden events are event-based. However, they can also be triggered by admins if they wish.
6. Blood Moon
Next on the list is the Blood Moon event, which has a 33% chance of spawning instead of a normal night. This gives you a small chance of noticing this event every 3 hours for 15 minutes

During these 15 minutes, the sky and the moon turn red, and you have a high chance of getting the Bloodlit mutation (4x sale value). You can further place a Night Staff for a higher chance of getting the Bloodlit crops during the event.
7. Bee Swarm
Bee Swarm is the latest addition to Grow a Garden, introduced in the Bizzy Bees update. This one is similar to the Night event and occurs every hour. During this time, you will notice a group of bees coming out of the hive at the center and flying towards your garden.

Don’t get nervous, as they won’t cause you any harm, and rather pollinate the plants in your garden, thereby applying the pollinated mutation (3x sale value) on the fruits. You can increase the chances of getting this mutation by placing the new Bee egg pets.
Admin Weather Events in Grow a Garden
The Grow a Garden events below can only be triggered by admins. Game admins usually trigger before any update and sometimes randomly. So keep your eyes peeled and watch out!
8. Disco
Now here is an event that will make you dance, literally! The Disco event in Grow a Garden starts playing the Raining Tacos soundtrack and makes everyone boogie. The event also gives players a chance to get the Disco mutation that gives over 125x sale value on the crops.

However, the event lasts just 1-2 minutes when the admins trigger it. Nonetheless, be sure to pray that you’re online to witness it.
9. Jandel Storm
When the Jandel Storm event occurs, you will see a massive Jandel avatar (monkey with a red top hat) appearing randomly anywhere on the play area. Beethoven’s ‘Ode to Joy‘ starts playing in the background during this time.
This weather event also causes lightning strikes at a rate of 4 strikes per second. However, this event brings no major changes except an element of surprise.
10. Sheckle Rain
During the Sheckle Rain event, the sky turns yellow or golden, and Sheckles start falling from the sky. Players also have a chance to collect as many as 30 Sheckles during this Grow a Garden admin event. Besides that, no mutation boosts are available during this event, so you can skip it if you want.

11. Chocolate Rain
As you might have already guessed, the Chocolate Rain event replaces normal rain with chocolate drops falling from the sky.
The Chocolate Rain provides the Choc mutation to the crops in your garden that you might have encountered during the game’s Easter event. Plants during this event will turn brown, just like the sweet treat.
12. Lazer Storm
The Lazer Storm event is similar to Jandel Storm, with the only difference that the huge avatar now shoots lasers from its eyes at the plots, usually in a single concentrated area. This will also leave burn marks all over the area.

During this time, you can get a boosted chance of getting the Plasma mutation in the game, which gives your fruits 5x the sale value.
13. Tornado
The Tornado weather event is one of the rarest in Grow a Garden. As such, only a few people have witnessed it. As you might be able to guess, this event causes massive tornadoes to spawn on the map.

The plants over which the tornado passes have a chance of getting the Twisted mutation. This mutation increases the sale price of crops by 30 times.
14. Black Hole
Finally, comes the latest Black Hole event, which players encountered before the Bizzy Bees update dropped. This event helps boost the chances of getting the Voidtouched mutation in the game. This handy mutation boosts a fruit’s sale value by 135 times. So if you were lucky enough to get this mutation, better hold on to those crops.

And these are all the Grow a Garden weather events for now. Let’s hope you’re lucky enough to witness most of them! So, what next event are you most looking forward to in the game? Let us know in the comments below!
