Among them, the Gnomed mutation is stealing the spotlight since it’s the easiest to obtain when you have the new Gnome pet and the right cosmetics. How to Get Gnomed Mutation in Grow a Garden

Currently, the only way to get the Gnomed mutation in Grow a Garden is by using the Gnome pet. Earlier, when Gnomes were first added to the game, they were only part of the cosmetics collection. However, in the latest Beanstalk expansion update, you can buy the Gnome pet from the Friendship shop accessible via the giant NPC on the cloud platform.
Do note that most of the items in the Friendship shop are locked, and you can get them by following the steps below:
- First, grow the magic beanstalk by interacting with the Jack NPC and submitting all the fruits based on the plant types he requires. You can go through our Grow a Garden Beanstalk event guide if you’re new to this event.
- Once the beanstalk grows tall and reaches the sky, climb it or teleport to the top of the platform using the portal beside.
- Feed cooked food, which you can make using our cooking recipes list, to the giant Goliath NPC to increase your friendship level to a maximum of 7.
- This will unlock the Gnome, and you can purchase this pet using Sheckles.
Place the Gnome in your garden, and it will have a 1.05% chance to mutate a random fruit with Gnomed mutation every 9.57 minutes.
Tips to Get Gnomed Mutation in Grow a Garden
Since you can easily get this mutation by using the Gnome pet, there are a couple of ways you can increase the chances of getting the mutation by using the following tips:
- Use Gnome Cosmetics: One of the passive abilities of the Gnome pet is that the chance of applying the Gnomed mutation increases by 1.05% for every Gnome cosmetic item placed in your garden. You may buy these items from the Gnome Merchant who arrives every four hours near the Seed shop.
- Use Multiple Gnome Pets: Place more than one Gnome pet in your garden to further boost your chances of getting this mutation. With a larger number of pets, the chances of finding this Gnomed mutation will increase further.
