With the magical journey of Jack and the Beanstalk ending in Grow a Garden, fairies are now ready to bring sparkle to your gardens. The Fairy Godmother is here to grant your wishes, offering you a ton of new seeds and pets. Alongside that, the magical Fairies event in Grow a Garden also brings a leveling-up mechanic, but trying to decipher how all of it works can get a little confusing. So, in this Grow a Garden Fairy Event guide, we break down everything you need to know about the update.
What Is the Fairy Event in Grow a Garden?
The Fairy event is a new, limited-time Grow a Garden weather event that occurs every one hour. Once it starts, the sky turns a deep purple and the play area is filled with glowing stars and fairies.
The Fairies event runs for 10 minutes (can be increased through Fairy upgrades) and sends a fairy to the garden, applying the Glimmering mutation to random fruits.
You will find Roaming Fairies, too, in the play area, randomly moving around. When they spawn, an announcement will appear on your screen. Find and interact with the fairy to send it to your garden, and receive the Glimmering mutation on one random fruit.
But you don’t always need to be in the game or track your offline timer. You will find a timer in the event hub to know when the next event starts. Moreover, fairies come offline too, so your garden will always shine with the new mutation.
New Glimmering Mutation in Grow a Garden
The new Glimmering mutation in Grow a Garden offers a 5x sale value multiplier. In terms of appearance, it features a neon pink bubblegum-like hue, with a glowing aura surrounding it. But that’s not all.
Once you have the Glimmering mutation applied to one of the crops, you can submit them at the Wishing Well for Fairy Points and new rewards.
To get the mutation, you can stay active during the Fairies event, or use the Glimmering Sprite pet, Glimmering Mutation Spray, and Glimmering Pet mutation. The fairies also visit your garden when you’re offline, so it is not necessary to stay online during the event.
Wishing Well in Grow a Garden
As mentioned above, you can submit Glimmering mutation crops at the Wishing Well. The Wishing Well is the treasure trove of the Fairy Event update in Grow a Garden. It gives players Fairy Points and new rewards (see list below) on completing tasks.
Fairy Points
Submitting the Glimmering plants will give Fairy Points based on rarity. However, if you submit the required plant, shown above the Wishing Well, it will give additional points. You can also get more points from the Wishing Well rewards. Fairy Points are used to upgrade fairies at the Fairy Godmother.
Wishing Well Rewards
Completing each task will let players select one reward out of three from the Wishing Well. There are a total of five tiers of rewards obtainable from the well. You can also reroll the rewards if the three that you are getting are not what you are looking for.
Players get five wishes per day, but can restart the tasks using Fairy Points or Robux. Here is a list of Wishing Well rewards:

After earning Fairy Points, players can talk to the Fairy Godmother and spend them. There are four different upgrade options that they can select. Fairy upgrade prices increase as you keep leveling up. Therefore, it is essential to understand the specific benefits of each upgrade.

- Glimmer Multiplier: Increase the Fairy Point amount gained from Glimmering crops
- Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount: Add more Roaming Fairies in the lobby
