This is the beanstalk straight out of Jack’s fairy tale. Which means if you grow it right, you are in for some sky-high surprises. In this guide, we break down the full Grow a Garden Beanstalk event and the shiny rewards waiting at the top.
What Is the Beanstalk Event in Grow a Garden?
The Beanstalk event is the main event of the latest Grow a Garden update. During the event, players can grow the beanstalk sprout into a giant plant by contributing different plants. Once it grows, players can climb up and access the new shop. For contributing to the growth, players will receive rewards including the new seed packs, eggs, and more.
The full lobby can contribute to the growth of the beanstalk, which will require 900 points to grow. The rarity of the crop you submit will decide how many points you are contributing. The highest contributors will be on the leaderboard.
Furthermore, the beanstalk will reset in 60 minutes, meaning players need to submit plants again to grow it. Look for the timer on top of the station. There will be a reminder before the beanstalk decays at 30 seconds (in red color).
How to Grow the Beanstalk in Grow a Garden
During the event, you will notice a small beanstalk in the middle of the lobby with a growth meter on top of it. Opposite the sapling, you will find Jack’s station with a leaderboard.
Go near Jack, the NPC, and look for the type of plant he is asking for. Hold the specific crop of that Grow a Garden plant type and select the ‘Feed this to the beanstalk‘ option. Alternatively, you can select the ‘Feed all my plants to the beanstalk’ option to submit all the required types of plants at once.
Beanstalk Event Leaderboard and Points Explained
When you submit plants, their rarity decides how many points they add to the beanstalk’s growth. There is no cap on points or submission limits, so you can keep feeding it as much as you want. But if you want the special rewards, you will need a solid spot on the leaderboard. Here is the list of plant rarities and the points they give during the beanstalk’s growth.
- Common: 1 Point
- Uncommon: 2 Points
- Rare: 3 Points
- Legendary: 4 Points
- Mythical: 5 Points
- Divine: 6 Points
- Prismatic: 7 Points
- Transcendent: 8 Points
Beanstalk Event Contributor Rewards
Don’t worry, contributions to Beanstalk’s growth will not go to waste in Grow a Garden. If you contribute to the growth of the plant, five special reward orbs will spawn on the Beanstalk on your way up. Claim the rewards when you are scaling up.
Remember, the higher you are on the leaderboard, the better the rewards will be. The rewards will visually appear as green glowing balls that you must collect by interacting with them. So, make sure you have collected all five of them before the Beanstalk decays.
Moreover, after contributing to the growth of the plant 7 times, you will unlock a portal to travel between the top of the tree and ground level. While it is not a reward as such, the portal will lower your time to climb up the tree by completing the obby every time.

Beanstalk Shop (Goliath’s Goods)
After growing the beanstalk, players can climb up and take a look at the Goaliath’s Goods shop by interacting with the giant NPC named Goliath. The shop is stocked with multiple new items, including new seeds, seed packs, eggs, and more.
Furthermore, purchase and restock items using Sheckles. The shop restocks every hour automatically and resets the manual restock price with it.
