Atsu: The New Ghost in Town
It’s official that Jin Sakai will be passing the baton to Atsu, the brand new lead of Ghost of Yotei. The developers have noted that they have held on to the “Ghost” theme and continue to tell the tale of a new legendary ghost in Feudal Japan. That is why we are getting the Ghost of Yotei instead of a Ghost of Tsushima 2.

At this moment, we don’t know much about the new female protagonist of GOY. However, in an interview with the New York Times, the developers remarked that this game will focus on the tale of an underdog vengeance.
Thus, we can expect Atsu to be a less powerful character who seeks retribution at first. As the story progresses, we will need to master the art of combat to become the next Ghost in town. In addition to wielding a Katana, Atsu was also seen having a shamisen (Japanese musical instrument) on her back and a pet wolf by her side.
