Samsung has seemingly confirmed two new A-series smartphones, at least one of which will offer 5G connectivity. Listed on the company’s Hungarian website, the Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy A91 will apparently ship with 25W and 45W super-fast charging, respectively. While the A91 will offer Samsung’s Super Fast Charging 2.0 like the Galaxy Note 10+, the A90 5G will get only the 25W Super Fast Charging technology, like the Galaxy Note 10.

Both devices will be part of Samsung’s mid-range A-series that was first announced earlier this year. The devices bring premium features at more affordable price points than the company’s flagship S-series and Note-series lineups, and the upcoming duo will be no exception. While the A91 will bring 45W fast-charging, the A90 5G promises to be the first Samsung mid-ranger to offer 5G connectivity.

Recent leaks have seemingly revealed some of the key tech specs of both the devices. The Galaxy A91 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch punch-hole display and a 108MP primary sensor as part of a triple-cam setup with additional 16MP and 12MP sensors. As for the A90 5G, it is said to sport the Snapdragon 855 SoC, a 4,500mAh battery and a rear-facing triple camera setup (48MP+8MP+5MP) with ‘Tilt OIS’ technology.

Not much else is known about either of the two devices at this point in time, but we’ll hopefully get to know more sooner rather than later. It is interesting to see Samsung bringing 5G connectivity to the mid-range, and one can only hope this will lead to more affordable smartphones with 5G support in the near future.
