Fortnite v33.20 Update Early Patch Notes: Godzilla and Kong

Epic Games already shared a tease several times showcasing Godzilla for Fortnite. While there is no exact date for the monster’s arrival, known leakers suggest that Godzilla in Fortnite will come with the v33.20 update. However, he will be available for the game on Friday. The official Fortnite page on X already revealed the creature through a post.

As per some details, it seems you can transform into Godzilla in the new update. Although Godzilla is a major highlight of the new Fortnite v33.20 update early patch notes, this update is more focused on Festival 7 and the arrival of Hatsune Miku. With her joining the game, Snoop Dogg will leave the Jam Stage. Here are all the new changes coming with the Festival Season 7:

Hatsune Miku Music Pass

In the new Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Festival update patch notes, we see a new music pass added to the game. The Music Pass now offers a single track for both free and premium rewards, aligning with other Fortnite Battle Passes.

Earn XP in any Fortnite experience to unlock free rewards, and purchase the Music Pass to unlock premium rewards similarly. The Music Pass is available for 1,400 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew, granting access to a Hatsune Miku Outfit, Instruments, and more.

If you have the premium pass, you will get Neko Hatsune Miku Outfit, and at the end of the pass, you can unlock the Brite Hatsune Miku Style. Fortnite Festival Season 7 update v33.20 downtime starts on January 14 at 1:00 AM PT and ends on April 8, 2025. So, make sure you grab the pass and claim the outfits early. But the Fortnite skins are not the only rewards you get in this Festival Music Pass.
