How to Get the 6 7 Emote in Fortnite

Fortnite has always been up to date with everything pop culture-related. This includes skins from popular movies/shows and emotes inspired by social media trends. Keeping with this trend, Epic Games has added the viral 6 7 emote to Fortnite, bringing this random yet hilarious meme to the Battle Royale Island. That said, here’s how to get the 6 7 emote in Fortnite.

Fortnite Doot Doot 6 7 Emote: How to Get It and Price

The Doot Doot 6 7 emote was originally released on December 12, 2025, and was reintroduced on October 7, 2026, at 8 PM ET with the Fortnite Item Shop reset. The emote is associated with the viral meme and features a short clip of a song (same name as the emote) by the artist Skrilla. If you want to get the 6 7 emote in Fortnite, here are the steps you need to follow:

• Open Fortnite and navigate to the Item Shop.
• Look for “Doot Doot 6 7” under the “Hype Time” tab in the Fortnite Item Shop.
• Click on the Doot Doot 6 7 emote (500 V-Bucks).
• Click and hold the Purchase button until the circle fills up.
• Fortnite notifies you when the Doot Doot 6 7 emote is added to your locker.
• Then select the Doot Doot 6 7 emote from your Fortnite locker and add it to your Emote Wheel.

Since emotes rotate in and out of the Item Shop regularly, there’s no need to rush and get it. We highly suggest that you save your V-Bucks for newer cosmetics that are added as part of Fortnitemares 2026. That said, the Doot Doot 6 7 emote leaves the Fortnite Item Shop on October 11, 2026, at 8 PM ET.

What Does 6 7 Mean? Viral Trend Explained

The 6 7 meme is one without a proper meaning behind it. The meme first took off around February 2025, when Skrilla released ‘Doot Doot (6 7)’. After this, a clip from a college basketball game, featuring a viewer performing hand gestures while yelling ‘6 7,’ went viral. The meme has since taken on a life of its own, despite being inherently meaningless.

Not only has the meme been referenced in popular media like South Park and Fortnite, but it has even gone on to be featured as Dictionary.com’s word of the year. People still constantly reference the meme on social media platforms and even in real life. All the while, the trend holds no significant meaning and acts just as a joke to be in on.
