FischFright 2025 is here, and it brings plenty of new rods, boats, and mutations. And being a limited-time event, the mutations found during FischFright are extremely valuable. Moreover, some of them are important for different quests that reward you with better rods or other equipment. In this guide, learn how to get Frightful, Spooky, Haunted, and Eerie mutations in Fisch.
To get the FischFright mutations like Frightful, Spooky, Haunted, and Eerie in Fisch, players can appraise fishes from the Halloween Appraiser. Alternatively, some of the mutations are available through the limited event relics or rods.
How to Appraise a Fish for FischFright Mutations in Fisch
FischFright Appraiser is located at Crook’s Hallow. You can either interact with the Flying Dutchman or the Frightful Mirror to get there. Once there, use your Fisch GPS and follow these coordinates: 43, 141, -11623. The Appraiser NPC will be behind the Witch, beside the merchant.
After reaching the FischFright Appraiser NPC, the method will work similarly to the normal Fisch Appraisal. Here is how you can appraise a fish and give it the FischFright mutations in Fisch:
- Simply walk up to the NPC and select the “Can you appraise this fish?”
- Once selected, the NPC will appraise the fish for a random price, depending on the weight and rarity of the fish.
- The amount will reduce if you buy the appraiser’s luck game pass.
- Once done, you’ll notice that appraised fishes and items carry a small green dot at the bottom left corner.
How to Get Frightful Mutation in Fisch
The Frightful mutation is obtainable once you have used the Frightful relic on your rod. To get the Frightful relic, look for the Flying Dutchman announcement while you are in Crook’s Hallow.
The location will be revealed on your screen. Go to his ship and purchase the Frightful relic for 2000 Candy. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. Now, enchant your rod and start fishing to get the Frightful enchantment. It gives 10% chance to apply Frightful mutation on fish.
How to Get Eerie Mutation in Fisch
Similar to the Frighful relic, you can also purchase the Eerie relic from the Flying Dutchman announcement in Crook’s Hallow. The Eerie relic costs 2500 Candy and can be used as a secondary enchantment. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. So, you can stack your rod with Frighful and Eerie enchantments to get both mutations on fishes.
How to Get Haunted Mutation in Fisch
The Haunted mutation is available from the Haunted rod in Fisch. As the rod is no longer obtainable, I suggest you stick to the appraisal tech for this mutation.
How to Get Spooky Mutation in Fisch
Spooky is also another mutation only found through Spooky enchanted rods. You can purchase the Spooky relics from the Flying Dutchman in Fisch for 2500 Candy. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. Spooky mutation is also obtainable from Spooky Rod in Fisch.
