The next Epic Store free game is confirmed to be Clone Drone in the Danger Zone. Developed by Doborog Games, the title is a robot voxel slice-em-up where any part of your body can be sliced off. Do Free Epic Games Store Games Expire?

No, Epic Game Store’s free games never expire once you’ve claimed them. If you claimed any of the free games within their redemption period and added them to your library, they’re never going to expire. This means you’ll be able to download them any time, be it a few months or years later.

Of course, there is one major exception. If you redeemed an online-only game, it might stop working once the devs shut down its server. In this case, there’s nothing Epic Games can do to preserve the game since the devs have decided not to support it.

Online game shutdowns are pretty common these days, Highguard being a recent example. However, titles that initially had price tags are far less likely to meet this fate. Priced online games are also the kinds of titles that end up on the EGS giveaways list anyway. So, there’s nothing major to be worried about. With that being said, it’s still worth keeping in mind if an online game has suddenly disappeared from your library.
