The full list of EA FC 26 Icons has officially been revealed, and this year’s class is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. From highly-requested legends to fan-favorite superstars, FC 26 has delivered one of the most exciting batches of Icons in the franchise’s history. Almost every new Icon will also be available as part of the Ultimate Edition pre-order bonuses, which is certainly a step up from last year’s Origin Heroes. Without further ado, here’s a look at every EA FC 26 Icon, including their ratings and more.
All Confirmed EA FC 26 Icons
Here is every new Icon joining EA FC 26:
Player Name Nationality Rating Zlatan Ibrahimovic Sweden 92 Alex Morgan USA 91 Andres Iniesta Spain 92 Toni Kroos Germany 90 Marcelo Brazil 89 Oliver Kahn Germany 91 Caroline Seger Sweden 90 Giorgio Chiellini Italy 89 Francesco Totti Italy 89 Steffi Jones Germany 89 Cha Bum-kun South Korea 88 Sissi Brazil 88
Zlatan is joining EA FC’s Icon roster for the first time. The Swedish striker appeared in countless FIFA/ FC games before he was embroiled in a public dispute with EA over image rights. The two parties look to have settled their dispute, as Zlatan starred in his PSG colors in the FC 26 reveal trailer.
Alex Morgan is also making her EA FC’s Icon debut. The USWNT legend was bound to be an Icon as soon as she hung up her boots. The 36-year-old announced her retirement last year after a glittering career laden with silverware, and she can now add EA FC 26 Icon to her long list of accolades.
Other stars on the list include El Clásico rivals such as Iniesta, Marcelo, and Toni Kroos, mythic one-club men in Oliver Kahn and Francesco Totti, and regional heroes like Cha Bum-kun and Caroline Seger. Rounding out the list are Juventus stalwart Giorgio Chiellini, World Cup winner Steffi Jones, and the pioneering Sissi.

When will Pre-Order Icons Receive an Upgrade?
Just like previous years, FC 26’s Pre-Order Icons will have lower ratings at first. These cards are named ‘Debut Icons,’ or ‘Baby Icons’ as the community likes to call them. However, they’ll be upgraded to a higher rating sometime in November. EA haven’t revealed a concrete date for the upgrade just yet, but you can expect to receive a ‘Champion Icon’ near the end of the year.
In case you’re wondering about the reason behind this upgrade system, it’s purely to balance out the power curve. If Ultimate Team players manage to grab a 92-rated R9 on day one, it’ll automatically put them leagues ahead of the competition. To prevent this from happening, Icon upgrades are reserved until later in the year, allowing high-rated cards to dribble into FUT via promos.
What are Icons in EA FC 26?
Icons are some of the rarest cards in Ultimate Team and are modeled around some of the best players to grace a football pitch. Scoring an Icon, especially during the first few months of the game’s cycle, is a major achievement. Beyond their ratings and PlayStyles, Icons get full chemistry points regardless of the nationality or club of their teammates. This trait is incredibly helpful for squad-building and only adds to their value.
And that wraps up our guide on all the new Icons coming to FC 26. What do you make of the new cards? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
Yes, EA occasionally releases free Icons for all Ultimate Team players. Examples include TOTY Zidane from EA FC 25. You can also get Icons by completing SBCs. These are completely free, but you’ll need to grind the game quite a bit.
Yes, Icons such as Ronaldo, David Beckham, Gareth Bale, Luis Figo, and many others are available in both Player and Manager Career. To unlock more Icons, you’ll need to complete Season Pass objectives.
