EA FC 26 Champions, or Champs as many like to call it, is the game’s ultra-competitive online mode. There’s no better way to test your mettle than Champs, as it invites hardcore players with all sorts of teams to come together in a limited-time competition. The prize for grinding the game mode’s matches is incredible rewards, the value of which varies depending on how many points you can accumulate. With this in mind, here’s an overview of EA FC 26 Champions, including how to qualify for the Weekend League.
FC 26 Champions Explained
As most players will already know, FC 26 Champions kicks off every Thursday at 12 AM PT ( 3 AM ET/8 PM BST). The competition concludes on Tuesdays at the same time.
While Champs is active, players can compete in a total of 15 online matches. You’ll receive points based on your record across these games, which will be reflected by a Rank. In FC 26, Ranks have been expanded to 15, meaning players will receive rewards even if the Weekend League wasn’t kind to them. The best rewards are reserved for Rank VI and above, which tend to offer a better chance at obtaining promo players.
How to Qualify for FC 26 Champs
Qualifying for Champs in FC 26 is the same as previous titles: Gather 1,000 Champs Qualification Points. These can be earned by playing Rivals matches, which is essentially the more casual online mode. For EA FC 26, the devs have finally removed Champs play-offs that had started to feel pretty redundant. So, you’ll now be entered into Champs immediately and without needing to play any extra matches.
It’s important to note that Champs Qualification Points can only be earned from Division 7 onwards. This is due to the introduction of Challengers, which is essentially Champions for lower-level players that sit in Division 7 and below.
All EA FC 26 Champions Rewards So Far
As mentioned earlier, Champs has 15 reward tiers, with Rank 1 being the highest. EA are shaking up rewards across all Ranks to slow down the power curve this year, starting with the Rank 1 rewards listed below:
