Doom The Dark Ages: All Siege – Part 2 Secret Areas

Siege – Part 2 in Doom The Dark Ages, see the Slayer do his best to come to King Novik’s rescue with the forces of Ahzrak closing in from all sides. It’s a frantic level with demons swarming in at every corner, but when has that stopped Doomguy’s penchant for exploration? So if you want to uncover all the hidden locations on this level, here’s our guide pointing you towards all secret areas in Siege Part 2 Chapter 7 of Doom The Dark Ages.

Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 7 Secret Areas

Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 7 has nine Secret Areas in total. In these hidden spots, you can find Collectible Toys, Rubies, and more. If you’ve stumbled here by mistake, it’s worth first checking out Siege part 1 secret areas to begin properly. With that done, here are all the hidden locations:

Secret Area 1

After defeating the giant titan using the turret, head towards its obliterated remains and turn left to find a platform you can climb. Now, bash through the wooden planks and you’ll come across a giant box. Go behind the box and see the green icon, indicating that you can move it. Pushing it forward will reveal a breakable wall, so fling your shield to unlock the first hidden location.

Secret Area 2

The second secret sits just above the first one. To get it, climb the box you just pushed and then scale the platform on the right. Now, take a 180-degree turn and climb the platform on the left. You’ll find yourself in front of a gold cache.

Secret Area 3

The main objective will see you pull a lever that unlocks the gate on the opposite side of the titan’s body. Push through the demons hiding inside and look for a climbable platform at the end of the adjoining hall. Climb it and turn around to spot a breakable chain object.

This will unlock another platform you can scale. After climbing it, turn around once to find a breakable wall. Throw your shield at it and jump across. Look towards the upper left corner, and you’ll spot the question mark icon. Make your way to it to collect the Pinky Rider Toy.

Secret Area 4

Continue pushing through the dilapidated castle, and eventually, you’ll find yourself on an upper level with a Secret Key floating on the other side of a massive gap. Ignore it for now and keep moving towards the adjoining corridor. Glance towards the right-hand side to find a breakable wall with a purple logo on it. Break it using the shield to access the third Secret Area.

Secret Area 5

Now, retrace your steps and return to the Secret Key’s location. To collect it, check out our detailed guide on all the keys in the game. Once you’ve acquired it, jump down onto the lower floor and head in the opposite direction from where the key was located. An unmissable metal door will be lit up with a purple key indicator. Interact with it and grab a Ruby for your trouble.

Secret Area 6

Another nearby locked door can be opened using the same secret key. So, refer to the map above to reach it and grab a Codex page.

Secret Area 7

While following the main objective, you’ll find yourself in a destroyed hangar. After jumping across to the other side, head towards the massive ship wreckage. Look for a climbable platform and simply walk to its edge to find another Ruby Statue.

Secret Area 8

Keep on the beaten path until you jump onto a horde of fodder enemies. Now, move forward and continue fighting demons until you spot the scalable platform as seen in the image. Climb it and turn left towards the caved-in wall to spot a breakable chain object. Hurling your shield at it will set some gears in motion. Jump back down off the platform, and you’ll see the gears open up a new path. Head inside to find the Secret Area.

Secret Area 9

The next hidden location is actually right in front of the previous one. Exit the tiny cubby, and you’ll find a new opening right beside the platform you climbed earlier. Head inside to tick the final Secret Area off the checklist.

That wraps up our guide on all the Secret Areas in Doom The Dark Ages Chapter 7. If you’re having trouble reaching any of these locations, be sure to let us know in the comments.
