Codex Locations in Village of Khalim (Chapter 1)
The Village of Khalim has two codex entries in Doom The Dark Ages, and here is how you can find them:
- Village of Khalim Codex location: This Codex can be found in the third secret area of Village of Khalim.
- Doom Slayer Codex location: This codex is located on the hill near the ocean. Use the path shown below to get on the hill and obtain the codex.
Codex Location in Hebeth (Chapter 2)
Finding the Hebeth codes is fairly simple in Doom The Dark Ages. All you need to do is follow these steps:
- Hebeth Codex location: Head to the area shown on the map and jump over the boxes to find the Codex.
Codex Location in Sentinel Barracks (Chapter 4)
The Sentinel Barracks chapter also has only one Codex entry, which you can find in this way:
- Sentinel Barracks Codex location: Simply head to the below location and go past the Shrine to find the Codex.
Codex Locations in The Holy City of Aratum (Chapter 5)
The Holy City of Aratum is a confusing place, but you can easily find both the Codex entries by following these steps:
- Deag Loric codex location: This codex is located on the third Hell Carrier. Reach the end of the Hell Carrier and return to find the Codex.
- The Holy City of Aratum Codex Location: The Holy City of Aratum codex can be found in the fourth Hell Carrier, which has a landing spot outside the ship. To obtain the codex, head to the third secret area in the Holy City of Aratum and then to the location shown below.
Codex Location in Siege — Part 1 (Chapter 6)
In Siege — Part 1, you can find two Codex entries. Here are all the locations for them:
- Kreed Maykr Codex location: Drop down on the left from the location of the Mancubus toy, and there you will find the codex.
- Siege Part 1 Codex location: Head to the third secret area in Siege Part 1 and jump to the hill shown below from there to obtain the codex.
Codex Location in Siege — Part 2 (Chapter 7)
There is only one codex in the Siege — Part 2 chapter, and it is in one of the secret areas. Here is how you can collect it:
- Siege Part 2 Codex location: This codex is hidden behind a secret door in the sixth secret area of the Siege Part 2 chapter. Find the secret key to this area and head to the location given below to obtain the codex.
Codex Location in Abyssal Forest (Chapter 8)
Chapter 8 of Doom The Dark Ages also features only one Codex entry, and here is how you can find it:
- Abyssal Forest Codex location: The codex can be found in one of the secret areas of Abyssal Forest. Simply head to the location shown on the map, break the wall near it with a Shield charge, and obtain the codex.
Codex Location in Ancestral Forge (Chapter 9)
Find the Codex Entries easily in Ancestral Forge by following the steps shown below:
- Ancestral Forge Codex Location: Head to the below location and drop down on the platform to obtain the Codex.
- King Novic Codex location: Head to the ninth Secret Area in Ancestral Forge, where you will find a weapon skin. The Codex Entry is on another platform next to the Skin. Simply jump to the platform and collect it.
Codex Location in The Forsaken Plains (Chapter 10)
The Forsaken Plains holds two Codex Entries, and they can be found by following these steps:
- The Forsaken Plains Codex location: Run past the shrine shown below and reach the location as given to obtain the Forsaken Plains Codex.
- Prince Ahzrak codex location: The Prince Ahzrak codex is located in the second secret area of the Forsaken Plains, behind a secret door. Open the secret door with the secret key and obtain this Codex.
Codex Location in Sentinel Command Station (Chapter 12)
Sentinel Command Station also features only one Codex entry, which you can claim by heading to the following location:
- Sentinel Command Station codex location: Follow the main mission until you reach the area shown below to obtain the Codex.
Codex Location in Spire of Nerathul (Chapter 14)
The Spire of Nerathul codex entries can be easily found by following these simple steps:
- Spire of Nerathul Codex location: While deactivating the second Stasis Emitters, look for the location shown below and jump from the side to find the codex below.
- Serrat Codex location: Simply follow the main mission to the very end, and you will come across the codex.
Codex Location in City of Ry’uul (Chapter 15)
City of Ry’uul is a confusing area, and the codex hidden there is quite tricky to find. Use the steps given below to find it:
- City of Ryu’uul Codex location: Head to the location below and use the booster to get to the top platform. Here you will find the Codex locked behind a door. Drop down from the left of the locked door to land on a lower platform. Head up to collect the Codex.
Codex Location in The Kar’Thal Marshes (Chapter 16)
The codex in Kar’Thal Marshes can be found by heading to the location given below:
- The Witch Codex location: The codex is located near the entryway of Chapter 16, behind a locked door. Head towards the back of the codex area, jump onto the middle island, and look left. Shoot your Shield at the Blue button from here to open the door. Do not recall your weapon until you collect the Codex.
Codex Location in Temple of Lomarith (Chapter 17)
The Temple of Lomarith Codex is available early on in the chapter, and here is how you can collect it:
- Temple of Lomarith codex: While swimming underwater around the start of the mission, look for a broken ship and enter it to find the codex.
Codex Location in Belly of the Beast (Chapter 18)
Collect the Belly of the Beast codex by following the steps shown here:
- Commander Thira Codex location: Head to the location shown below and simply collect the Codex there.
Codex Location in Harbor of Souls (Chapter 19)
Harbor of Souls has two Codex Entries, both of which can be found easily with the following steps:
- Harbor Souls Codex location: Follow the main quest until you reach the location shown below and collect the Codex.
- Hell Priests Codex location: Reach the very end of the chapter, and instead of ending it, head back through the other side to find the Codex.
Codex Location in Resurrection (Chapter 20)
The codex locations for Resurrection can be found by following these steps:
- Resurrection Codex location: The first codex is next to the Cosmic Baron toy. Find the Yellow key and unlock the door at the location shown below to obtain the codex. The Yellow key can be found near this location.
- Commander Valen Codex location: While invading the Kreed’s ship, head to the below location to obtain the Codex.
Codex Location in Reckoning (Chapter 22)
Reckoning is the final chapter in Doom: The Dark Ages, and it also holds the final Codex entry. Here is how you can find it:
- Marok Codex location: The Marok Codex is at the beginning of the chapter. After dropping down at the beginning, head right to find the Codex in an alcove.
