There aren’t many characters in Deadlock who rely on aim-tracking skills. Vyper comes from that category of heroes who can dominate enemies through her continuous cheap damage and vicious passive. While having a solid aim can secure you some good kills, you must know the right items to make more impact. In this Deadlock Vyper build guide, we have compiled the best items that complement her abilities and your aim for the full effect.

As Vyper in Deadlock, you must keep utilizing your slide passive. Deadlock gives you the advantage of infinite ammo while sliding. This mechanic makes Vyper almost undeniable in a lane. To make the most of it, start the game with Extra Stamina and Close Quarters.
With some solid sliding advantage and damage bonus, a Bullet Lifesteal early will keep you in the lane for a longer time. Spirit power upgrades the ability damage and Vyper’s movement speed. So make sure you get the Extra Spirit in the early stage.
If you want to get more spirit count and bonus ammo, get Ammo Scavenger. For extended survivability and bonus damage, Hollow Point Ward suits her. If the survival is getting hard or you are in a solo lane, either Healing Rite or Extra Regen will be enough. You can also get the Restorative Shot instead for more aggressive play.
Best Core/Mid-Game Items
3000 Souls | 1250 Souls | 500 Souls | 3000 Souls | 1250 Souls |

In case you have not mastered the skill of slide-and-shoot, get Quicksilver Reload first. You can imbue it to your Lethal Venom skill. Otherwise, get the Burst Fire first for more fire rate while you slide around and melt enemies. You must also get the Mystic Burst to boost the passive and other damage.
If you are dealing with enemy-carry heroes like Haze or Wraith, you must get Hunter’s Aura first. This goes perfectly with Vyper as she roams around the map frequently to catch solo enemies off-guard. Get the Spirit Armor before the late game commences for better team fight durability.
Best Late Game Items
6000 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3500 Souls | 1250 Souls |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
The mid-game core items are already enough for Vyper to get strong. To boost it up, upgrade Close Quarters to Point Blank. Having the Improved Spirit early will give you more agility and a massive damage bonus on the venom. But before all of that, get Lucky Shot first if you have enough farm.
If the enemy team is too tanky, get Escalating Resilience for more resistance while you fight along with the Improved Spirit Armor. Superior Stamina will give you more stamina points and help you create more slides. Fortitude will increase your health and give you more movement bonus. To melt the enemies while doing toxic damage, get the Bullet Resist Shredder.
Best Vyper Luxury Items
6000 Souls | 6000 Souls | 6000 Souls | 6000 Souls |
---|---|---|---|
To have the icing on the cake, get Spiritual Overflow right in the later stages. It will increase your fire rate and spirit power, increasing your toxin damage. To take on multiple enemies simultaneously, get Vampiric Burst and combine it with Boundless Spirit.
The extra spirit count will help you gain more toxin damage while giving you bonus movement. If the enemy team has Pocket or Infernus (debuff characters), get Silencer early on.
Best Vyper Situational Items
1250 Souls | 1250 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls |
---|---|---|---|
If you are not living in fights enough, Healing Booster will stack up on your Bullet Lifesteal for more survivability. You can switch the Quicksilver Reload with Active Reload if you want another weapon item.
Toxic bullets can be a suitable toxic item to annoy enemies even more if you have built-in venom ability. Warp Stone will unlock more movements if you are getting knocked down by enemies more often.

Best Vyper Ability Point Order
Vyper starts the game with the Slither unlocked. As the passive slide bonus is already built, you can first focus on building the Lethal Venom. Upgrade the Lethal Venom at the start to get bonus toxic damage and healing reduction. Alongside this, you must also assign a point to the dagger. Having T1 on the dagger will give you additional nuke potential to guarantee the kills.
Once you have one point on the Ultimate, it will be more than enough initially. The T3 Slither will give you a bonus bullet and spirit resistance while you use a slide. Once you combine your Slither and Lethal Venom early on, you can dominate the game. Especially if you are building the items we suggested.
