Paradox deals more damage with his carbine ability when it is a headshot. That is why start the game with Headshot Booster and High-Velocity Mag. Upgrade the damage even further with Mystic Burst. By the time you unlock your ultimate, ensure you have Mystic Reach for easier execution.

For better movements, get Extra Stamina and Sprint Boots. If you have a hard lane, you can get the Healing Rite or Extra Regen for better survivability.

Mystic Shot and Enchanter’s Barrier are the two core items you must get with Paradox. However, if you want to play more farm-centric, you should get the Combat Barrier first. Otherwise, get Veil Walker and go hunting.

Headhunter will increase your carbine damage, making it easier to kill. Lower your ability cooldowns with Improved Cooldown and get Enduring Speed to go in and out of ganks easily.

All Paradox Abilities

  1. Pulse Grenade: Throw a grenade that begins pulsing when it lands. Each pulse applies damage, movement slow, and stacking damage amplification for Paradox against the victim.
    • Level 1: +0.8s Duration
    • Level 2: -8s Cooldown
    • Level 3: +45 Pulse Damage and +0.75m Radius per pulse.
  1. Time Wall: Create a time-warping wall that stops time for all enemy projectiles and bullets that touch it. Enemies that touch the wall will be briefly slowed.
    • Level 1: +2m Width, +1m Height
    • Level 2: +10% Max Health Damage on Touch
    • Level 3: Enemies that touch Time Wall will be Silenced for 2.5s
  1. Kinetic Carbine: Start charging your weapon and gain increased move speed once it’s fully charged. Your next shot will release the energy, dealing spirit damage and applying a time stop to the enemy hit. The damage dealt is an amplification of your current weapon damage. You can slow time on yourself by pressing Alt Mouse while an empowered shot is available.
    • Level 1: +0.5s Max Stop Duration
    • Level 2: +2s Speed Duration, 2s Charge Time
    • Level 3: +50% Max Damage Amp
