If the fight is getting too hard, you can start with Curse or get a Diviner’s Kevlar to have a better defense when you use Ultimate. However, if you are snowballing, get the Glass Cannon and get more damage stacks or Arcane Surge first for a guaranteed spirit damage buff for your carbine shot.

If you are getting ganked in the early game, get Divine Barrier. For more kill chase, get Decay or Knockdown and combine them with your ultimate carbine combination.

Paradox Ability Point Order
Unlike any other heroes in Deadlock, Paradox has an overall ideal kit. This means you will need all the abilities for a perfect combo of damage and constant pressure. However, Kinetic Carbine should be the priority ability to help you deal massive damage to enemies. You must get it to T3 ASAP to get the bonus damage Amplification.
Additionally, all the abilities can be upgraded depending on the game’s situation. The bomb will be more valuable if the game constantly throws team fights at you. Otherwise, upgrade the wall for more objective advantages and ultimate combinations.
