While you are in the laning stages, Haze requires enough sustain to get a solid grip on the farming. If the enemy dominates you early, you will lose out on a good chunk of advantage. To utilize your bullet animation, get Ammo Scavenger for continuous ammo supply and Headshot Booster for good damage output.

If the enemy is poking with a lot of spirit power damage, get the Hollow Point Ward early and an Extra Regen for more sustainability. To add more survivability, keep Extra Stamina and Extra Health ready. However, if the lane is going well, you can rush Slowing Bullets and Swift Striker.

In case the laning stage is going hard, you can get some additional vitality items. If you want a little extra lifesteal, get Enduring Spirit. If you are playing against too many crowd-control characters like Wraith or Infernus, Reactive Barrier is a good option. You can also opt for the Healbane to reduce enemy healing. Divine Barrier is perfect if you plan on playing as a ganker.

Depending on how the game is going for you, you must select either Quicksilver Reload or the Bullet Lifesteal. But remember to get them both before anything else. Use the Quicksilver on your dagger and easily reload your gun in fights. If you are playing as an assassin, go for the Slowing Hex first and combine it with your Bullet Dance for guaranteed kills.

Otherwise, get the Bullet Resist Shredder and rush Burst Fire. Get an Extra Charge once you max out your Smoke Bomb to guarantee an easier escape from tricky situations. Enduring Speed is a perfect mid-game item for Haze players who love roaming around the jungle and kill objectives. Before the late game comes around, get Lucky Shot. It is one of the key items for Haze build-in Deadlock.

Once you are in the late-game, get a Crippling Headshot and amplify your fixation power level. While Unstoppable is a must for more survivability, you can opt for Glass Cannon first and get a massive weapon damage upgrade. Complete your late-game arsenal by getting Rapid Recharge. It will give you more smoke bomb charges.

Leech DeadlockHunter's Aura DeadlockSilencer DeadlockHeadhunter Deadlock

Leech is one of the strongest upgrades for Haze and is the ideal item for our build. It will deny the enemy from healing while you gain a massive lifesteal. Once you have the healing completely sorted, you can choose between the Hunter’s Aura or Silencer.

If you are playing aggressively, Silencer will give you debuff reduction and spirit damage amplification. Hunter’s Aura is a more team-oriented item for Haze as it lowers enemy resistance. However, in 1v1 situations, the buff is tripled. Headhunter is perfect for some additional healing and more sustain.

Debuff Reducer DeadlockEscalating Resilience DeadlockEthereal Shift DeadlockImproved Spirit Armor DeadlockInhibitor DeadlockToxic Bullets DeadlockSilence Glyph Deadlock

Not all games will go in the ideal way as Haze, that is why there are some situational items you can go for. If the enemy team has Pocket or any other debuff characters, get the Debuff Reducer early for lower negative effects. You can go for Escalating Resilience against strong weapon damage dealers like Yamato.

To survive against massive stuns from Lash or Abrams, you can go for the Ethereal Shift. While it is good for temporary immortality, Improved Spirit Armor can be ideal for overall spirit damage resistance. If the enemy has a massive fire rate, lower it with an Inhibitor or get Toxic Bullets to harass them further. Silence Glyph is a good item on Haze if you are running behind enemies as an assassin.

After fixation is maxed out, make sure you get two more levels in the dagger to reduce the enemy stamina bar. This will help you chase down enemies easily. Once you have your ultimate also unlocked, maximize your smoke bomb and gank around the map.

It will increase your survivability with the invincibility buff and more charges. Upgrade your ultimate in the end, as it no longer gives you additional targets.
