How to Obtain Quests in Crimson Desert
Quests can be obtained in various ways in Crimson Desert. You can stumble upon a book or note and read it to get a quest, or you can receive a letter for your next mission. There is a notice board in all major cities and towns with requests and bounties that you can consider taking.
Other than that, you can stumble upon world events that have their very own chain of side quests that you can complete. The main quests are given from the start, and you can simply follow them to get the next mission. Other than that, speak to as many NPCs as you can to get more quests out of them.
Crimson Desert Quest Rewards
Completing missions in Crimson Desert is highly beneficial, even more so than in other games. Instead of XP, the Crimson Desert skill tree is tied to Abyss Artifacts and a unique mechanic named ‘Observing’. Abyss Artifacts can be obtained by completing missions, puzzles, and defeating bosses.
Certain skills are locked behind story and side missions, only giving players the chance to observe them when playing the mission itself. This makes completing missions, even side ones, highly beneficial.
