Caitlyn Kiramman started as a low-ranking officer among the Enforcers in Piltover. As she started to slowly uncover the secrets of Piltover and Zaun, she took charge and started to climb the ladder with the power of House Kiramman and the support of Councilor Jayce behind her. In the first episode of Arcane Season 2, Caitlyn assembled a strike team with her Encforcer friends and Vi to put an end to Jinx’s atrocities. So, for those curious, let’s learn all the details about the members of Caitlyn’s newly created Strike Team in Arcane.
Spoiler Warning: This post includes heavy spoilers for the Arcane animated series.
After Renni organized an attack during the memorial of the councilors, Caitlyn couldn’t let it slide and decided to take the fight to Zaun and Jinx. As she is now the leader of House Kiramman, after her mother’s untimely demise in the missile attack on the Council by Jinx, Caitlyn decided to take up Hextech arms and hunt down the blue-haired manial girl.
Caitlyn introduced the Strike Team to the Council members utilizing her authority as the leader of House Kiramman. The Strike Team included the following members (from left to right):
- Maddie Nolen
- Loris
- Caitlyn
- Vi
- Steb
When introducing the strike team, Caitlyn shared that their objective was to “locate Jinx, Dismantle Shimmer, and Neutralize Any Agents Still Loyal to Silco.” They were equipped with new Hextech-powered Enforcer weapons such as the upgraded gauntlet for Vi, sniper for Caitlyn, shield, and more to hunt Jinx and achieve their goals to restore peace. You can learn more about each member of Caitlyn’s Strike Team below:
1. Caitlyn Kiramman
The death of her mother Cassandra started to take a massive toll on Caitlyn. It’s clear that once a composed officer has now turned into a stern leader. Caitlyn Kiramman couldn’t just sit and watch the councilors argue all day and decided to take the matter into her own hands.
With the power of her family name, she successfully created and decided to lead the Strike Team to accomplish her goals. Caitlyn with her rifle was willing to go to any lengths to stop Jinx and save Piltover and Zaun.
2. Vi
Out of all the characters, we never imagined Vi to don an enforcer outfit, isn’t it? In the past, Enforcers killed Vi’s parents, leading her to hate them from a young age. While she initially rejected Caitlyn’s invitation, she then put aside her hate for the greater good. So, she put up the uniform and got back her Hextech-powered gauntlets to assist Caitlyn, her romantic interest, in capturing her sister, Jinx.
3. Maddie Nolen
Maddie Nolen was one of the newest officers we met in season 2 of Arcane. She indeed resembled the daughter of the corrupt sheriff, Marcus. However, she’s not his daughter. She looked up to Vi as a role model and had a strong admiration for her.
Even though she only appeared for a short time, Maddie has instantly become a popular character among the fans. Whatever happens, all must protect this good-hearted officer.
4. Loris
I don’t know if I’m the only one but Loris kind of reminds me of the fan-favorite Vander. Loris was introduced in this season when he offered booze to Vi in the streets of Piltover. He seemed to stick with her since and eventually found a place in Caitlyn’s Strike Team after his valiant efforts in the battle at the memorial.
We don’t know much about this character other than the fact that his name is Loris and he wields a shield. However, we are certain that he will play an important role in the upcoming acts.
5. Steb
Last but not least, we have Steb who was already an officer and got enrolled into Caitlyn’s Strike Team to protect Piltover. Steb is a Fishman-esque (from One Piece) character in the series and a cool-headed officer. He bravely saved Maddie during the attack.
However, his character hasn’t been explored properly yet and we hope to see more of him in the upcoming episodes.
That’s a wrap on the current members part of Caitlyn’s Strike Team. Since Caitlyn has become a commander under martial law now, we don’t how her strike team is going to evolve further in the Arcane series. But if you have some thoughts on the team, let us know in the comments below.
