Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Release Date Officially Revealed

Season 4 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is officially arriving on May 29, as confirmed by an X post (formerly Twitter) by the Call of Duty account. The announcement was paired with the Season 4 key art reveal, which confirmed the return of Stitch, as teased in the Season 3 outro cinematic.

For the unacquainted, Stitch served as the primary antagonist of Black Ops Cold War’s post-launch content. Operating under the guise of Perseus, Stitch attempted to brainwash Adler by abducting and dragging him to Verdansk. However, Hudson and Alex Mason eventually rescued the Black Ops operative, and the group then mounted a counter-attack.

The final post-launch cutscene of BO: Cold War implied that Adler had put a bullet in Stitch’s head. But as we now know, the ex-KGB agent was kept alive as an intelligence asset, and he’ll now help uncover the identities of Pantheon members.

It’ll be interesting to see how the narrative pans out throughout Black Ops 6 Season 4 and Season 4 Reloaded. Beyond the new operator, players can also look forward to the standard assortment of new weapons, maps, and Zombies content. We saw some of the latest guns coming to BO6 and Warzone in the S3 outro, namely the FFAR and LC10. Both weapons last appeared in BOCW, which looks to be a consistent trend in the upcoming season.

As for Zombies, Activision teased the potential return of Grief, the classic Black Ops 2 game mode. Aside from this, we already know that the new Zombies map will almost certainly be Janus Towers, with the crew battling S.A.M. one last time.
