10 Best VPNs for Android in 2023

A few events in internet history have completely changed the way we look and use the internet. With the growing numbers of data breaches across the internet, privacy, and online security have taken center stage in recent years, especially after the Facebook data breach scandal which took the world by storm. It is important to secure yourself online or else the next thing you know is that your data will be up for grabs in shady places and what better way to do so than using a VPN?

For those unaware, VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and it helps you protect your identity online by masking your private IP address, blocking online trackers, and encrypting your data. By doing so, it also gives users access to geo-restricted content on the internet. VPNs are available on a wide range of personal devices but if you’re especially looking for one to use on your Android phone, here are the 10 best VPNs for Android.

What to Look for in a Good VPN Service?

What makes a VPN service great? Good connectivity, better speeds, cheaper subscription cost? Well, it’s a bit of everything. Besides, there are also a few things you should look out for before buying one. Firstly, you should see if the VPN you are using is encrypting your data or not. Then you should see if the VPN follows a strict no-logging policy (Which is that the VPN doesn’t take a log of your activities on the Internet). The last is the location of the company that owns the VPN.

So, as a rule of thumb, your perfect VPN provider should be encrypting all your data, shouldn’t be keeping a log of your activities, and also not be based in a country where the government cannot easily get access to the company’s data (read Russia, China, North Korea). With this little burst of wisdom, let us check out the best VPNs for Android.

1. NordVPN

It’s like a fresh breath of air seeing so many different VPNs mentioned in this list as many other sites don’t even bother to test the newer ones out. Don’t get me wrong I’m a NordVPN user myself and wouldn’t change my provider in a million years, but sometimes I like to test other services for curiosity. Overall, if you’d ask for my recommendation – Nord is the safe choice to go. And if you don’t want to overpay – there’s plenty discount codes online, I used besafe77 or smth
