Best Basketball Zero Styles Tier List (June 2025)

Basketball Zero is one of the most popular sports games on Roblox because of its distinct styles and zones. They draw inspiration from the sports animanga series— Kuroko’s Basketball. For those who are familiar with the series, these styles offer you a chance to embody your favorite characters. Be it a commanding point guard like Akashi or a versatile player like Kuroko, selecting a Basketball Zero style is the first step to dunking on your opponents. We have tested each style and ranked them in our Basketball Zero styles tier list below. This will see you choose the most effective style for scoring points and achieving victory in this Roblox game.

Editor’s Note: updated the Basketball Zero Styles tier list on June 4, 2025, after the Basketball God update

Basketball Zero Styles Tier List

The current meta in Basketball Zero prioritizes aggressive scoring, and not every style brings that to the table. So, the styles centered on playmaking are less optimal, at least until the developers decide to make meta-shifting changes. Nevertheless, in capable hands, every style remains viable. Still, the styles ranked higher are likely to improve your chances of winning.

We have arranged the styles from S+ to D tier, with the S+ tier including styles with “overpowered” mechanics that give players a distinct edge on the field. Here is our complete Basketball Zero styles tier list:

  • S+ Tier: Basketball God, Emperor, Ace, Perfection
  • S Tier: Star, Flash, Copycat, Giant
  • A Tier: Sniper, Jackpot, Phantom
  • B Tier: Playmaker, Clutch
  • C Tier: Lock
  • D Tier: Chuck

Best Basketball Zero Styles

Before you jump into a match, we suggest you redeem the Basketball Zero codes and spin for one of the meta styles. With that out of the way, let’s look at the styles to choose:

S+ Tier Styles

The Basketball God style will turn you into a literal basketball ‘God’ for one reason: overpowered skills. When you use this style, you get an unmatched number of control and precise dunks, on top of the iconic dribbling. Although it is hard to obtain this Basketball Zero style, victory is inevitable once you have it.

If you are a fan of the anime, you know how fun it is to be the playmaker. Well, the Emperor style gives a taste of both worlds. It’s an offensive playmaking style that comes with a solid ball-snatching skill. If you are a tactical player who loves passing the ball around, you should pick this style.

Next up, whether it is soccer or basketball, scoring flawlessly always gives an adrenaline rush. The Ace style lets you do exactly that. You get to be the scorer with skills like Drive Shot that let you perform two crossovers and auto-aim to dunk for easy points. This is further made easier with the abilities that help Ace move across the court quicker.

Interestingly, Basketball Zero also introduces a style based on Perfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z called Perfection. This limited style suffers from bugs from time to time, but it is overpowered when it works properly. Skills like Blink and Perfect Dribble make it one of the strongest dribbling styles in the game.

S Tier Styles

Previously a mid-tier style, Star has become one of the best Basketball Zero styles after recent buffs. It has punched a ticket to the top of the S-tier and remains one of my favorites. It was already a solid offensive style that lacked dribbling aspects, but that flaw has been resolved with a strong drive that lets you go past enemies in a blink.

Next up, we have Chrollo’s favorite style— Flash (of course, this flashy Roblox dev likes a style called Flash). This is one of the few styles that focuses on being both a goalscorer and dribbler. In the right hands, Flash can be a strong style for mobility. Don’t forget to use “I Am Speed” whenever you have the awakened ability ready.

Copycat is one of the rarest styles in Basketball Zero and is a tricky one to master. The name of the style is enough to know that it lets you copy abilities from an enemy. It might sound like it should be a meta ability, but imagine the amount of mastery you need over the other styles you steal. So, if you are a versatile Roblox basketball prodigy, victory is your wingman.

If you are new to the game, Giant can be one of the easy pickings for you. It provides both offensive and defensive capabilities. You can use this style to become a great blocker or simply net an ample amount of baskets with the Post-Form ability. The catch is, you must play near the enemy most of the time.

A Tier Styles

Sniper is one of the strongest styles in the game in terms of raw accuracy. You can score easy 3-pointers with its solid long-range shooting style. Unfortunately, outside of that, this style does not offer much. But given that the meta requires solid goalscorers, you can consider picking Sniper even though it’s not ranked in the S tiers in our Basketball Zero styles tier list.

If you are lucky enough to get and master Emperor to become the ultimate playmaker, good for you. If not, a strong alternative is the Jackpot. You get some high-quality stealing abilities with a strong counterattack. The Jackpot style is a good pick if you don’t want the limelight but still wish to make a difference on your team.

Can’t pull Jackpot even with all the spins we get every week? Well, another popular playmaker-style in the game is Phantom. Unlike Emperor or Jackpot, Phantom lacks self-play. However, you can dominate the court with a great bullet pass. Phantom can go past enemies easily, but it only helps you create chances instead of scoring goals.

B Tier Styles

Speaking of playmaker styles, Playmaker, unfortunately, does not justify its name. This style is not as good as its name suggests and is just flashy. The abilities are average and only work when you are up against beginners in the game. Maybe, Tatlis uses this to make himself feel good (shhh…don’t tell him we said this).

Clutch is another newbie-friendly style that works only in lower-level lobbies. You get a basic Jump Stop and a Pressure Defense that feels powerless and slow; definitely not the style you want to use in the current meta.

C Tier Styles

The Lock style would have been good if it wasn’t just so hard to obtain. It has a super low chance to pull from normal spins and doesn’t justify its Legendary status. It is a good defensive style that can guarantee you solid block power. However, due to the meta being more aggressive, Lock stays in the C-tier of our Basketball Zero tier list for now.

D Tier Styles

If you are playing with friends who are skilled at the game, then Chuck can be a viable style to pick. Otherwise, you are destined to struggle in the game. It is the only luck-based style that gives you an attribute boost based on winning and losing chances. It would be better to avoid it if you want to be able to win games.

So, those are our picks for the best Basketball Zero styles, ranked from best to worst. Which style are you using in the game now? Do you agree or disagree with our ranking? Share your opinions in the comments below.
