Arc Raiders Battening Down Quest Guide

With the new Arc Raiders update, all traders have new quests for raiders to embark on in the all-new Riven Tides map. The violent hurricanes across the Rust Belt have caused severe damage to the seawalls found in the coastal map. Thus, Apollo needs players’ help to document all the adverse impacts of the hurricane across the shoreline. So, we have prepared a guide to help you complete the Arc Raiders Battening Down quest in the new update.

How to Complete Battening Down Quest in Arc Raiders

Fortunately, the new Battening Down quest, added as part of the Riven Tides update, is fairly simple. All you need to do is collect samples, photograph the cracks, and fix a leaking oil pipe on the shorelines of the Riven Tides map before you extract in Arc Raiders.

Since you will be running all the way across the shoreline, make sure to grab enough Adrenaline Shots. As always, pack enough Shield Rechargers and Bandages, as you never know who will interrupt you during your raid. That said, here is how to complete the Battening Down quest in Arc Raiders:

1. Photograph the Cracks Forming in the Sea Wall

You can start the quest by heading over to the right corner of the Post Authority Building near the Seabed. As you hit the end of the seawall, you will see the prompt to take a photo of the cracked wall nearby. Simply press the E button to start capturing images of the cracks forming in the sea wall, and now the first objective of Apollo’s new quest is complete.

2. Sample the Shoreline near the Hotel Beach

The second objective of Apollo’s new quest in Arc Raiders is to collect samples of seaweed. Reach the north end of the Azzurro beach. Now, you can see many seaweeds washed up on the shorelines of the Riven Tides map. Just interact with one to collect the sample, and you are done!

3. Fix the Leaking Oil Pipe in the Northeast

The final objective of the Battening Down quest is to fix a leaking oil pipe in the northeast part of the shoreline. After you collect samples and photographs, continue your run towards the end of the shore, and you can see the leaky pipes.

Step closer to one, and you will see the option to repair the pipeline. Press E to repair the leaky pipeline by welding, and this marks the completion of the Battening Down quest in Arc Raiders.

Once you complete these three objectives, you can return to Speranza and talk with Apollo to earn the rewards. Here are all the rewards you can earn for completing Apollo’s Battening Down quest in Arc Raiders:

There are no strict rules, such as completing all the objectives in a single raid, like the previous Outstanding Balance quest guide.
