Seems like, Apple’s iphone 6 plus bending inside pocket wasn’t the only problem it had. Reports are coming from various iphone 6 and 6 plus users that the device is pulling head hair/beard hair out when they move the phone away from their head.
Many users have turned to social media with the images of hair caught between the screen and the aluminum frame of their iPhone and the hashtag #HairGate . Here are some reactions from Twitter.
#hairgate is real- sort of. This is from my beard on my iPhone 6. I will say that it took several swipes. #ouch pic.twitter.com/rhlPqw4k5s

If you buy an iPhone 6, you better be totally bald #HairGate

However, some users have also turned to social media in support to Apple and to them, #HairGate or #BeardGate is just a fake trend. Let’s hear them out as well.
I have big curly hair that gets caught in EVERYTHING, and it has never been caught in my iPhone 6. I say #hairgate was started by Samsung — Alicia Bervine (@JustAlly) October 7, 2014
Gillette saw an advertising opportunity in this trend and they bagged on it by publishing this hilarious tweet.
Your phone may be smarter than ever, but leave the shaving to the experts. #beardgate pic.twitter.com/eEbH96bdS3

Apparently the iPhone 6 was also designed to shave your bodyhair. #hairgate #beardgate #iphone6 pic.twitter.com/PNRjiW5Afw
