Whether you are completing a quest or preparing for a deep adventure, having limited storage can quickly hinder your progress. This is why increasing it early on in the game saves you tons of time. How to Increase Storage in Abyss

The first task is to increase your primary storage in Abyss, which controls the number of fish you can carry at a time. This is shown in the bottom left corner under the ‘weight‘ text. The primary storage is mainly controlled by the tube, and also by using artifacts. So, here is how to increase the weight in Abyss:

Using Tubes

Abyss tubes are one of the best ways to improve your weight in the game. If you’re a beginner, then head to David’s tube stall and purchase the best one according to your budget. You can also check their storage capacity by pressing the ‘E’ key once near them.

Using Artifacts

Equipping the Best Races

The third way to increase the amount of fish you can carry at once is through the races in Abyss. You can reroll races using the star shards after you click the option at the top of your screen. The best Abyss races among all that increase the fish weight include Monkey, Narwhal, Crab, and the Kraken. Simply reroll races in Abyss and use the one that helps you with the storage.

How to Add Portable Storage in Abyss

While the above methods can help you increase the number of fish you can carry at once in Abyss, here is a way to increase the total amount of stash you can collect at a time. For this, you need to visit the Billy NPC, found leaning against a blue storage box beside the teleportation area.

Beside the Billy NPC, there is a portable stash chest that can hold upto 8 fish at a time in the beginning. And, don’t worry, this will be your personal stash, as it cannot be looted or even viewed by the other players.

You can further increase the space in this portable stash by paying Billy a certain amount every time. However, with each tier, the cost scales rapidly. Given below is a list of all storage upgrade costs in Abyss:

• Size upgrade 8->16: $1250
• Size upgrade 16->24: $4750
• Size upgrade 24->32: $15,000
• Size upgrade 32->40: $ 50,000
