One of the best parts of the WWE 2K games is their single-player campaigns, also known as the Showcase mode. Every new entry in the franchise brings a new Showcase, and WWE 2K26 is no different. This year, the devs are zooming in on the iconic career of the game’s cover star, CM Punk.
The Voice of the Voiceless is one of the most celebrated and subversive personas in WWE history, with a list of accolades worthy of the Hall of Fame. He previously headlined WWE 2K15’s Showcase mode alongside his “wrestling soulmate” John Cena. On this occasion, he’s running solo in what is one of the best Showcases 2K has ever produced. On that note, here’s everything to know about the mode, including the full WWE 2K26 Showcase matches list.
WWE 2K26 CM Punk Showcase Explained

The WWE 2K26 Showcase is named ‘Punked,’ and it examines the illustrious career of CM Punk. Narrated by the man himself, you’ll play through his most iconic matches and act out memorable spots as they happened in real life. The devs have also dabbled in a bit of fantasy booking, as the Showcase features dream matches pitting CM Punk against legends from different generations.
To make things even better, some matches even reimagine Punk’s career as if he never left WWE in the first place. Almost every wrestler present in the Showcase is, of course, an unlockable character that can be added to the WWE 2K26 roster.

Just as we expected, some of Punk’s greatest matches, including his showdowns with John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and the Undertaker, are present in Showcase mode. On the Fantasy Warfare front, the game pits him against the likes of Stone Cold and Eddie Guerrero. As for the “What If?” matches, the devs basically let you pull a Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 30, but with CM Punk in the driving seat.
While the match list is solid overall, there are some notable omissions. For instance, Punk’s five-star classic against John Cena at MITB 2011 is nowhere to be seen. The same can be said for his gruelling bouts against Jeff Hardy in 2009. The absence of these matches is especially disappointing since WWE 2K26 will feature the Hardy Boyz as a DLC add-on.
And that wraps up the confirmed WWE 2K26 Showcase mode matches list. For more information about the game, be sure to check out our WWE 2K26 hub.
