The newly announced GTA 6 Collector’s Edition, officially titled “Grand Theft Auto 6: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection,” costs a whopping $399.99/£349.99. If you are wondering what’s in the new GTA 6 collector’s box, it includes Macca the Gator-inspired physical goodies.

Is the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition Worth It?
Unlike fans who faced the dilemma of choosing between the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition and Standard, you don’t have to worry about whether you should get the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition. So, should you buy the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition? The answer is a big no! For $400, the physical goodies in the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition don’t sound like a good deal at all.
First, the collector’s edition has neither a GTA 6 physical disc fans were hoping for nor a digital code for the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition or Standard. Instead, you get a Macca the Gator Figure, Oakley Frogskins Sunglasses, New Era 9FORTY Snapback Hat, a GTA 6 Leonia Physical map, a sling bag, and a few more goodies like a mirror, stickers, pins, etc.
None of these items justify the hefty $400 price tag. Imagine a GTA 6 Collector’s Box with Jason and Lucia figurines, a physical disc, and other items that fans actually care about. Now that would be a more appealing deal than what Rockstar Games is currently offering with the GTA 6: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection.
So, if you are still wondering whether you should buy the GTA 6 collector’s edition, the Collector’s Box isn’t simply worth the price. Both Oakley sunglasses and a New Era cap indeed make up half the price of the Collector’s Box, but that doesn’t justify it. In a nutshell, it isn’t a memorable collection longtime GTA 6 fans were waiting for.
However, if you are a veteran GTA fan who has all the collector’s editions from Rockstar Games so far, then you might as well get the GTA 6 Collector’s Box and complete your collection. Otherwise, you are better off with the other GTA 6 Editions.
