In Short
  • Sailor Piece Master grants powerful buffs, like damage, luck, critical damage, and critical chance.
  • Mastery has a level cap of 500, and every 25 kills grants 1 Mastery level.
  • The Quake fruit swap method is currently the fastest method to score Mastery levels and reach the cap.

With the Sailor Piece Ghoul update, a new Mastery system was added that allows you to grind each weapon and unlock special buffs for it. These rewards are powerful and worth the effort, as they can turn your simple damage or luck build into a monstrous one. So, go through this guide to learn everything about the Sailor Piece mastery system and what buffs you can unlock.

Full Sailor Piece Mastery Buffs and Milestones

The mastery system arrived as a part of the Ghoul update in Sailor Piece, and it introduces a progression path for every individual sword and melee fighting style. This means that the mastery levels will not be shared for your character. Instead, if you max out one sword in the game, you still need to grind for the other weapons separately.

Adding to that, as you work on increasing the mastery levels, you unlock milestone rewards. These rewards can be anything, like boosting the luck stat, damage buff, critical damage, or critical chance increase. That said, here are all the Sailor Piece mastery milestones and rewards:

Mastery Level MilestoneBuffs Gained
25Luck +7%
50Damage +7%
100Crit Chance +1%
150Crit Damage +10%
200Luck +10%
250Damage +10%
300Crit Chance +1%
350Crit Damage +15%
400Luck +15%
450Damage +15%
500Permanent Passive: 25% chance to deal 1.5x damage

How to Complete Sailor Piece Mastery for Weapons

Now that you have an idea of the whole mastery milestones in Sailor Piece, let’s learn how to access this feature. So, you can either head to the Starter Island and talk to the Mastery NPC. Alternatively, you can simply click on the Inventory icon at the top-left of your screen and click on the Mastery icon at the center to access this system.

Once opened, you will see separate progress bars for each melee style and the Sailor Piece swords that you own currently. The progression itself is also straightforward. Every 25 kills grants 1 mastery level for the currently equipped weapon or fighting style. Since the mastery level cap is currently 500, you will need a total of 12,500 kills to fully max out a single spec.

There is also a 2x Mastery Game Pass available in the shop for players who are willing to spend some Robux. The pass costs 699 Robux and helps to permanently double the Mastery gains. This can heavily boost the grind, make it easier, and save hours of killing enemies.

Best Ways to Complete Sailor Piece Mastery Fast

If you try to grind and kill the Sailor Piece NPCs without any strategy, it can take an absurd amount of time. And that is why a few players have suggested some efficient strategies to complete the Sailor Piece mastery fast.

Use Fast-Clearing Swords or Fighting Styles

The simplest method is to use a weapon or a melee style that can instantly wipe out groups of enemies. The faster you clear out mobs, the faster your Mastery milestones rise. So, consider using the Cosmic Being (Garou) fighting style or the Dual Wielder (Kirito) weapon, since they are the current OP weapons in Sailor Piece.

Other best weapons that you can consider improving the Mastery are the Black Reaper (Kaneki), Sun God (Yoriichi), and The World (Dio), as well. Most of these can inflict large AoE attacks and have quick cooldowns that work best to minimize the downtime between your kills and mob spawns.

Quake Fruit Swap Method

As of now, the fastest known method to gain Sailor Piece Mastery levels is by revolving around the Quake fruit’s C move. It is one of those Sailor Piece devil fruits with such a huge AoE attack that it can even clear two groups of mobs close to each other. Previously, players used the Quake fruit strategy at the Shinjuku Island to gain tons of kills at once.

However, with the new Sea 2 in Sailor Piece, you can simply teleport to the Starter Island at the new sea and stand between the two groups of mobs. Here’s how to do it:

  • Equip the Quake fruit and stand at the center of the path connecting the Delinquents and the Strong Fighters.
  • Use the C skill to summon waves on both sides, and immediately switch to the Sailor Piece sword or melee, whose Mastery you want to level up.
  • This can be done by toggling the hot keys that have been assigned to the Devil Fruit and the sword or the melee.
  • Now, let the wave kill the enemies while your weapon receives the Mastery level.
  • Consider toggling on the Auto C skill and repeating the process of switching to the desired weapon to increase the Mastery levels.

This strategy is incredibly effective, but you must first push all your stat points to the Power category in order to one-shot the enemies using the Quake fruit.
