In the ever-evolving world of Grow a Garden, we experience various creative mutations in the game almost every week. With the latest Blood Moon update, we are getting two new mutations in the game, including the beautiful Celestial one. This can be summoned by a brand new tool called the Star Caller. However, getting hold of this item can be quite tricky. So if you’re confused on how to get it, read on as we show you how to get Star Caller in Grow a Garden.
How to Get the Star Caller in Grow a Garden
The Star Caller tool is exclusive to the new Blood Shop in Grow a Garden. If you can’t locate this mysterious shop, note that it will rise from the empty play area you now see next to the Wise Owl NPC.
The Blood Shop will rise from this space only during a Blood Moon event every 3 hours, staying there for 10 minutes. Once you see the ominous red owl you see in the image below, rush to it with all your Sheckles to get the Star Caller.
However, since the Star Caller is a legendary item, getting it requires some patience. So if you don’t see it in stock at the Blood Shop, prepare to wait for another 3 hours for it to show up. You can also ask friends inside the server to keep a track of the Blood Moon event.
How to Use Star Caller in Grow a Garden
Using the Star Caller in Grow a Garden is very easy. All you need to do is follow the simple steps below:
- Equip the Star Caller Tool in your hand by accessing it from your hotbar or your backpack.
- Notice that the tool will have a light shadow when you hold it in your hand.
- Now move to an empty area in your garden and place it there.
And like that, the Star Caller has been placed there. You can check its range and number of uses by hovering over the tool. You’ll see a circular range shaded in green. Crops covered in this area will be eligible to get the Celestial mutation.
You can always place more than one Star Caller in your garden, as long as they aren’t in the range of another one. I was able to place four of them at once. Try it yourself and check how many you can fit in your garden.
A single Star Caller can give 3 random harvests the Celestial mutation, so the more you place, the greater the chance of getting this Grow a Garden mutation.
