If you are someone who has a lot of Pokemon that you need to evolve, now is the perfect time to do so. Make sure that you are using a Lucky Egg to get a lot of XP. If you don’t have one, you can purchase it using PokeCoins from the in-game shop. The raids also feature some new Pokemon that you might want to check out.
Additionally, the shiny rates for Larvitar and Bagon have been significantly increased. This is a perfect chance to hunt down both of the rare Pokemon, and expand your collection.

New Pokemon Debuts

Nacli is the new Rock-type Pokemon debuting in Pokemon GO during the Journey to Paldea event. You can now catch Nacli and evolve it into Naclstack using 25 Nacli candies. Naclstack can be further evolved into Garganacl with 100 Nacli candy. Nacli doesn’t have a shiny version in the game.
You need a lot of candy as Nacli is a new Pokemon and it has a three-stage evolution. We recommend that you use Pinap berries whenever catching it. If possible, keep a rock-type Mega Evolution active, like Mega Diancie, Mega Tyranitar, or Mega Aerodactyl, to earn extra candy and candy XL when catching.
Once you have a lot of Nacli stored, make sure to trade them with a distant friend. That way, you can earn three additional candies per trade.
