Strands answers for August 7

Today’s puzzle is quite simple if you are into poetry. Oh friend, I started by finding DOUGH at the top right, followed by WOAH at the bottom left. Then, under Dough, I spotted Bow, but it took me some time to find the answer, RAINBOW.

Then, I found myself stuck and looked at the grid for a while as I discovered hints. After a while, I found AVOCADO at the center of the grid. This was followed by the Spangram for today, RHYME TIME, and the final answers in MISTLETOE and CHATEAU.
