List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on May 27
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- BOWTIE
- WHEEL
- TUBE
- SHELL
- SPIRAL
- ELBOW
- RIBBON
The theme was a good hint into what the round today was about. Finding SPIRAL at the top alongside BOWTIE and WHEEL at the bottom right helped. Yep, we’re talking about pastas today. While my pasta knowledge is very limited, it helped that the NYT Editors decided to not list the Italian names for it. Instead, we’re seeing shapes.
And, guess what? Found PASTASHAPES as the Spangram for the day. With that clarity, I found ELBOW at the top left and right beside it, SHELL. At the bottom left, there was TUBE and beside it, RIBBON. Well, that concluded my Strands today.
Didn’t have to use any hints, fortunately. What about you though? Did the pasta lover in you find it to be easy or did your taste buds have a hard time? Do cry your heart out in the comments down below!
