List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on April 17
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- SPEED
- PACE
- GAIT
- COURSE
- TRAINER
- TRACK
- NUTRITION
“Run Forrest, run!” Like I said, the theme had me thinking about Forrest Gump, and while I didn’t exactly hit the spot with that, it helped me find SPEED and PACE as theme words. Right after, I found MARATHON as the Spangram for the day. However, I went completely blank after this, and I ended up using a hint.
The hint gave me GAIT, after which I found TRACK at the top. The bottom portion housed COURSE and the right corner gave me TRAINER. With that, I found NUTRITION in the final couple of grids. Well, that concluded my Strands for the day.
That one hint set me back in my no-hint streak though. What about you? Did you have to use any hints or was the game easy enough for you? Let me know in the comments down below!
