Apart from the Spangram, you’ll need to find 6 theme words in today’s puzzle. However, if you are having a tough time getting through the Strands, check out some tips and tricks in my guide on how to play NYT Strands.

List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on April 7
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- EYELASH
- BALLOON
- STRAW
- FEATHER
- BUBBLE
- PAPER
As soon as I laid eyes on the grids, I found BALLOON in the rightmost column. Right under it, I found EYELASH, and running from bottom to top was LIGHTWEIGHT, which was the Spangram for today. At the top left corner, there was PAPER, and at the bottom, STRAW.
The rest of the grids housed FEATHER and BUBBLE and that marked the end of today’s game. So, there we go, another round of not using hints. However, going by how NYT rolls out these puzzles, I’m scared that we might get to see a frustrating puzzle one of these days.
