What is “Connections”?
NYT’s ‘Connections’ is a puzzle game that’s all the hype on social media these days. You will find people solving and sharing their successes and failures on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), and more. The game is managed by Wyna Liu, NYT’s associate puzzle editor. Connections gives players 16 random words that must be divided into categories they don’t know.

Answers for Today’s Connections Game (June 29)
Are you still stuck with the Connections puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:

The Connections puzzle for June 29 decided to come up with homophones yet again. Which is also how I began to solve the Yellow category the first. The Green category followed suit with words that made sense to tie together.
I found the Blue category a little bit morbid but understood the words clearly enough to see what it was.
With only four words left, I got them all together to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections for June 29.
