What is Connections?
Connections is one of NYT’s most played and ever-loved category guessing games. Managed by Wyna Liu, NYT’s associate puzzle editor, Connections gives players 16 random words that must be divided into categories they don’t know. Players only have four tries, which makes the entire affair even more exciting!

What Are the Answers for Today’s Connections Game? (June 9)
Are you still stuck with the Connections puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:

The Connections game today was thankfully smooth sailing. I began with the Yellow category and to be fair, we have all felt all these feelings enough to identify them easily. So did I. I then moved on to the Green section and sprinkled some of my wordplay onto it to make all the connections.
The Blue category itself was a trickier one. While I initially thought all the words meant something round, it actually involved layers. Nonetheless, I solved it.
With only four words left, I got them all together to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for June 9.
