With the latest Minecraft Snapshot 25W09A, the common Bedrock feature of fallen trees has been introduced to the Java edition. These fallen logs can come in four variants: birch, oak, jungle, and spruce. The birch fallen tree comes in both short and long versions. All of these variants can be decorated using mushrooms and vines.

To locate these fallen trees, you must explore the following biomes: Meadow, Bamboo Jungle, River, Grove, and Flower Forest. One important thing to note is that the Flower Forest can generate fallen birch trees but not oak ones.

Firefly Bush and Leaf Litter Tweaks

Another change introduced in the latest Minecraft Snapshot is some modifications to the spawning location of the Firefly bushes. These blocks will generate more in the banks of the Mangrove Swamps rather than the Badlands biomes. This adjustment will better align the flora features with the ecological diversity in the game.

In addition to the bushes, the leaf litter blocks are now replaceable with other blocks, allowing you better flexibility in building structures. Finally, the bugs related to SNBT texts have been addressed, improving and expanding their syntax.

So these are features brought about in the new Minecraft Snapshot 25W09A. What do you feel about these changes? Let us know in the comments below!
