I’m Hooked on Sailor Piece on Roblox and It Feels Like the Next Blox Fruits

New Sailor Piece characters vs Blox Fruits
In Short
  • Sailor Piece feels like Blox Fruits but appealing, making it easier for new and returning players to stay engaged.
  • With higher CCU, frequent updates, and better rewards, Sailor Piece is pulling players away from Blox Fruits.
  • Blox Fruits still has legacy depth, but Sailor Piece is winning players with codes, accessibility, and constant content.

Despite Roblox being packed with anime games, only a few games reach the scale of Blox Fruits. For years, it has set the standard for One Piece-based experiences on the platform (and inspired many to copy their formula). Numerous copycats have failed in the past, but there’s a new challenger in town that wants to dethrone the king.

Launched in November 2025, Sailor Piece erupted onto the scene with undeniable momentum and is currently dominating the CCU charts. After years of grinding Blox Fruits, players are beginning to switch over with equal zeal. So what makes Sailor Piece feel fresh, and is it going to be the next Blox Fruits on Roblox? Let us take a closer look at why it could dethrone.

Sailor Piece and Blox Fruits Share DNA, But Not Pace

The comparison begins with the foundational One Piece blueprint established by Blox Fruits. The emphasis on combat, questing across different islands, and, of course, the classic dash and sprint movement system. Spend a few minutes in Sailor Piece, and the similarities are clear.

From basic attacks and ability usage to stat point allocation, everything makes Sailor Piece feel like Blox Fruits 2.0.

This familiarity is entirely intentional. Sailor Piece builds on the same formula on which games like King Legacy or Fruit Battlegrounds are also born. And it all comes from Blox Fruits. But there is a catch to why Sailor Piece feels different.

The fundamental component that makes Sailor Piece a safer entry is its pacing. Whether you are a new player or a seasoned adventurer, the experience feels smooth as butter, be it from tutorials to unlocking your swords in Sailor Piece.

The grind feels rewarding. Within minutes, you go from being a noob to wielding the Gryphon, that is Shanks’ weapon, and slaying NPCs. You feel like a stronger and more capable fighter, making you instantly addicted to the grind.

In my case, the difference stood out right away. I did not need to grind for hours to feel effective. I was clearing quests, gaining levels, and unlocking new upgrades at a steady pace. It felt like Blox Fruits, but without the slow buildup.

Blox Fruits takes a more gradual approach. The progression stretches over longer and tiring sessions, and achievements take longer to feel rewarding. That design creates a deeper long-term grind, but it also raises the barrier for new players looking to join the game.

The early game progression in Blox Fruits can feel slow, especially for those trying to catch up. This explains why…

Sailor Piece vs Blox Fruits CCU Fight Is Closer Than Ever

Sailor Piece surged past expectations in a short time. The game crossed 500K players within three months and even peaked at around 745K+ CCU in April 2026. It is not a small number for a four-month-old game on Roblox.

On the contrary, Blox Fruits still holds a strong position, but the current daily active user numbers tell a different story today. It sits closer to 300K CCU on average, with occasional spikes that do not last long. That puts Sailor Piece at nearly double its active player base during peak hours, at least for now.

Why is Blox Fruits, once a million active-player giant, now fighting for its crown against a new game in the same space? We can say the shift is not just about core gameplay.

How Sailor Piece Keeps Players Hooked Longer

Sailor Piece does not rely on one system to keep players around. It builds a loop that keeps you coming back without forcing it. The game moves fast, and rewards come often. Plus, you find anime references from almost every universe instead of sticking to One Piece. That is another way to keep players coming back in search of melee or swords from their favorite anime.

However, the bigger pull is how Sailor Piece updates are handled. New content releases frequently, with new Sailor Piece bosses, islands, and content added at a steady pace that players can grind. The developers also run 2x server luck before major updates to make the pre-update grind smoother. It helps players be ready for the next set of quests and upgrades.

Blox Fruits Valentine's event update cover

Conversely, Blox Fruits’ update cycle moves at a glacial pace. Yes, the game still receives seasonal events, like during Valentine’s, Easter, and Christmas. However, if you play these updates, you will notice the same pattern: seasonal token, gacha, Blox Fruits fruits reskin, or new cosmetics.

The modern Blox Fruits update cycle is predictable, making it feel remarkably stagnant compared to Sailor Piece’s aggressive content pipeline.

On top of that, Roblox game codes are one of the major factors in keeping players engaged. New codes for any game bring the players back for freebies. I find myself redeeming Sailor Piece codes immediately, driven entirely by the high-value resources they provide.

The developers also routinely distribute Aura Crates via codes, effectively handing out premium-tier cosmetics for free and keeping the community highly engaged.

The case with Blox Fruits codes is opposite. The developers of the self-proclaimed number 1 One Piece game on Roblox love gatekeeping freebies. So, yes, you will barely receive new codes for free rewards. And even if they provide one after a dry spell of three months, it will probably give 30 minutes of 2x EXP.

While Sailor Piece celebrates CCU milestones with generous code drops, the Blox Fruits developers seem more focused on peddling physical plushies through their Discord server than rewarding their active player base. But codes are not the only thing. There is more to consider.

Why Sailor Piece Feels Rewarding for Even New Players

Sailor Piece does not make new players struggle to find their footing. You get into the action quickly and start feeling useful almost immediately. There is no long phase where you are just trying to keep up. It also gives you more freedom in how you progress.

You are not locked into a strict grind path. Players can form active parties, disable PvP, create Sailor Piece guilds, and tackle endgame dungeons and bosses far earlier than the genre standard dictates.

That flexibility makes learning the game feel natural instead of overwhelming. The playerbase helps each other as well. With more players around, fights move faster, and progression feels smoother in Sailor Piece. You are not stuck doing everything alone.

For new players, that speed and constant player participation is exactly what makes it work. The momentum continues into the mid-game, too.

Once you break the beginner ceiling, you will have different types of dungeons, open world bosses, summon bosses, an Infinite Tower, and even Boss Rush mode to grind. The game makes you keep playing to become the strongest.

And when you are the strongest, you can ascend and move to the power level of Saitama and one-punch bosses (all of them). This constant power scaling acts as a shot of adrenaline, perfectly hooking new players into the core gameplay loop.

So, Is Sailor Piece the New Blox Fruits?

At its core, Sailor Piece is not doing something entirely new. In many ways, it still feels like Blox Fruits. The same foundation, the same loop, and the same idea of becoming the king of the pirates (or the king of the anime world) remain intact.

Yes, there are more devil fruits in Blox Fruits, but that’s about it. The game slowly became more of a fruit simulator than a proper One Piece adventure.

Sailor Piece moves faster, rewards more often, and updates consistently. From my experience, that alone makes it easier to stick with. I, along with my friends, reached the max level, unlocked most weapons, and instead of feeling burned out, I’m waiting for the next update to see who joins Cosmic Being as the next World Boss.

Blox Fruits still has its legacy. It built the formula that Sailor Piece and many others now follow. But breaking into it today feels harder, especially for new players who do not want to spend hours just to feel progress.

Right now, Sailor Piece is winning where it matters. It feels active, rewarding, and easier to get into without losing the core appeal of a One Piece Roblox game. While Sailor Piece may not have entirely usurped the Blox Fruits legacy just yet, the paradigm shift is already underway, and the numbers are becoming impossible to ignore.
