As the world counts down to the release of Christopher Nolan’s latest cinematic venture, Epic Games has announced The Odyssey Fortnite skin. The skin translates Matt Damon’s interpretation of Odysseus from Homer’s The Odyssey, and, funnily enough, players can now play as him in Fortnite. The Odyssey Fortnite Skin: How to Get All Cosmetics for Free
Players can get the Odysseus Fortnite skin for free by participating in The Odyssey Cup. Just like previous free Fortnite skin cups, players will have to battle it out and rank high enough to unlock the Odysseus outfit, along with other themed cosmetics from Christopher Nolan’s new epic.
The Odyssey Cup will be a Solo Cup that will take place on July 15-16, 2026. Players will be able to play the cup across both the Battle Royale and Zero Build modes in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Additionally, Epic will also be organising a Mobile variant of The Odyssey Cup in the Reload mode. With Fortnite being back on iOS, mobile players can also have a chance to participate. Given below is a breakdown of the placements players need to secure to get The Odyssey skin and other rewards in Fortnite for free:

- Asia: Top 100
- Middle East: Top 100
- Europe: Top 1000
- Brazil: Top 200
- NA Central: Top 700
- NA West: Top 200
Additionally, the Mobile variant of The Odyssey Cup will also feature a smaller pool of winning players across all regions, which includes:
- Oceania: Top 30
- Asia: Top 30
- Middle East: Top 30
- Europe: Top 200
- Brazil: Top 30
- NA Central: Top 150
- NA West: Top 30
How to Get The Odyssey Skin in Fortnite Item Shop
For players who fail to rank high enough in The Odyssey Fortnite Skin Cup, Epic has you covered. You will also be able to purchase the Odyssey skin in the Fortnite Item Shop. At the time of writing, it is not confirmed when the skin will be coming to the Item Shop.
However, if previous free skins are anything to go by, the Odysseus skin should arrive in the Item Shop on July 17, 2026, at 8 PM ET. This not only aligns with usual major collab patterns but also lines up with the release of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which comes out on the same day.
