How to Unlock the Halibut Harpoon in Fisch

You can unlock the Halibut Harpoon by completing Dr. Monty’s questline in Fisch. To get started, head to the Deep and find Monty’s Lab. Talk to the NPC to begin the questline. You need to be at least Level 1,000 to start the quest. So make sure you level up fast in Fisch before commencing this journey.

Once you start, you must complete eight quests, catch different types of pufferfish, and pay 50,000,000 C$ to unlock the rod.

Fisching Greetings

For the first quest, Dr. Monty will ask you three questions. Answer all three correctly to complete the quest and unlock the next one. Here are the correct answers:

• 20% chance of Hadal mutation with an 11x sell multiplier (Perfect Catching a fish gives you a 10% chance to apply Hadal over its current mutation).
• Catching a fish replenishes 5% oxygen.
• Every five seconds, 15 to 35 harpoons target the progress bar. Each harpoon adds 1% progress.
• Landing 15 harpoons on the fish and within the control bar multiplies the final fish weight by 1.7x.
• The rod also has a 10% chance to preserve your bait.
• Shooting the harpoon at a school of fish catches every fish in the school in a single catch.
• The Halibut Harpoon also gains extra bonuses depending on the rarity of the bait you use.
