This new Fortnite car boasts a powerful design and is a must-have for any motorsport fanatic in Fortnite. Let’s break down everything you need to do to claim the Fortnite Havoc Car for free as part of a new cross-promotion event.
How to Get Fortnite Havoc Car for Free
You can unlock the Havoc Car in Fortnite for free through the Rivals & Rockets event on the Chapter 7 Season 2 map. This event has been launched as an annual collab between Fortnite and Rocket League, granting players free cosmetics in both games. The Rivals & Rockets event has added quests, and you need to complete 5 out of the 6 quests to unlock the Havoc Car for free.
You can only complete these quests in the Battle Royale and Zero Build playlists. Thanks to the cross-ownership between Fortnite and Rocket League, you can use the Havoc Car in both games.

All Fortnite Rivals & Rockets Quests and Rewards
As mentioned, the Rivals & Rockets event has introduced a total of 6 new quests in Fortnite. Completing these quests will not only count towards the Fortnite Havoc Car but also grant you XP for the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass. Here is a full breakdown of all of the quests available in the game:
- Complete Rivals & Rockets Quests (5) – Havoc Car
- Visit different Named Locations (5) – 5,000 XP
- Search chests or ammo boxes (25) – 5,000 XP
- Eliminate opponents (15) – 5,000 XP
- Travel distance in vehicles (1,000) – 5,000 XP
- Outlast players (200) – 5,000 XP
- Reach 20 players remaining in different matches (2) – 5,000 XP
Remember that these quests are not permanent in Fortnite. According to the official Epic Games blog, the Rivals & Rockets event will only be available until April 30, 2026. This gives players around 2 weeks to complete all the quests and claim the Fortnite Havoc Car for free.
