Abby Anderson’s Age In the Last of Us Part 2 Game
While Ellie’s actual age during the events of The Last of Us Part 2 (review) is revealed, there is no mention of Abby’s age in the game. Neil Druckmann, one of the creators, in a podcast with Kinda Funny Games stated that Abby is nearly the same age as Joel thinks when he saves her. So, it was estimated that Abby must be in her 20s over the course of the game.
When “The Art of the Last of Us Part II” was released in 2020, Abby’s character description in the art book revealed her age as she is in her early 20s in the game. Therefore, Abby must have been around 15 or 16 years old when her father was mercilessly killed by Joel.
So, this confirms that Abby is a bit older than Ellie. I say this because Ellie’s age in The Last of Us 2 is confirmed to be 19 years old.
