Fortnite Showdown Power Hour (March 21) Countdown Timer
The first Fortnite Power Hour of Chapter 7 Season 2 will begin on March 21, 2026, at 3:30 PM ET. Power Hours, as proven by their name, only last for an hour on the weekends. Since they take place on days when most players are home from work or school, it makes it easier for a large number of players to participate in the Power Hour.
Since this is the first Power Hour of the season and will revolve around the Dark Voyager, who is the big bad of the ongoing saga, players can expect a wild ride on Saturday, especially with all of the new weapons in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 loot pool. If you want to keep track of how much time is left before the first Chapter 7 Season 2 Power Hour begins, you can bookmark this page and keep checking the countdown timer attached above.
Fortnite Showdown Power Hour 2 (March 21) Countdown Timer
If you are unable to attend the first Power Hour on March 21 for some reason, don’t worry. Epic is keeping its tradition of back-to-back Fortnite Power Hours going, with another Power Hour being scheduled on March 21, 2026, at 9:30 PM ET. Having these back-to-back Power Hours at different times allows players to easily work around their weekend schedule and experience the gameplay changes Epic implements for this short period. It is important to remember that, apart from the start time, there is no difference in gameplay between the two Power Hours.
Fortnite Power Hour (March 21) Gameplay Changes
Much like any other Power Hour, Epic will be implementing small yet significant gameplay changes to switch up the Battle Royale loop during the Power Hours on March 21. According to the official Epic Games blog post, here are all the changes you can expect when you jump into these Power Hours:
- Every player starts out with the Dark Voyager’s Obliterator Shotgun, which is an Epic version of the Chaos Reloader Shotgun.
- Players can find copies, also called Echoes, of the Dark Voyager on the Island, with the Dark Harvester also going into attack mode.
- The Storm Focus rift anomaly will modify the storm and reveal its final location at the beginning of a match.
- Players can earn extra Rival Credits and Showdown event progress for their chosen team.
- Two levels with Supercharged XP in each of the Power Hours.
These Power Hours will not only allow players to test out the weapons in the new season in an exciting setting, but also allow them to earn two levels for the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass.
