Fisch’s new update is here, and it brings a brand new questline to the game. Fisch Rifts are appearing all over the place, and our Sunstone Wizard Merlin is in trouble. A new quest is available with this feature, which requires you to help Merlin and solve the mystery. Doing so will yield many valuable rewards you might not want to miss. The quest is simple, and here’s how you can complete Merlin’s Quest in Fisch efficiently.
How to Complete Merlin’s Quest in Fisch
Merlin’s Quest can be unlocked at Sunstone Island in Fisch. Sunstone Island is located North-East of Moosewood, past the Haddock Rock at the (-943, 224, -988) coordinates. You can use your Fisch GPS to follow the coordinates and reach the exact location.
Once you reach Sunstone Island, you will see that Merlin’s shop has been partially destroyed. You need to interact and talk to him. After you have finished the dialogue, you can start Merlin’s quest. Merlin broke his Magic Orb accidentally, and now he asks you to bring Magic Shards.
Giving Merlin the required Magic Shards and helping him restore the Magic Orb will lead to the completion of the quest. But the shards are not that easy to locate.
Where to Find Shards in Fisch
You can find Shards in the Sunstone Rifts, which spawn all over Sunstone Island. Make sure to check the surroundings, as they can spawn at the top of the island or even in the sandy area at the bottom, when you first enter the island.
Once you have found a Sunstone Rift spawn, walk into it. After entering it, you will have a very short amount of time to complete a parkour course. The Shard can be found on top of the rocks. You need to jump and glide across the area. Falling into the water will cause your death, and you’ll be kicked out of the Rift.
We recommend going to the right side of the Rift and climbing the middle pillar by jumping on the stair-type structure. Once you locate a shard, you can jump and glide towards it to collect. After you get out of a rift in Fisch, you cannot revisit it.
How to Give Shards to Merlin in Fisch
Now that you have the Shard in Fisch, you can bring it back to Merlin and claim your reward. Talk to him and click on the “I have a Shard for you” option, and you are all set. You can give him any Shard and get a reward each time.
