Emmys 2025 are almost here, and with that, fans are excited to know which shows or actors will take the crown this year. Several great shows and talented actors have been nominated this year, including The Severance and Arcane. Now, the awards are still a few days away, but for now, we have predicted which shows or actors will take the award this year. Check out our Emmys 2025 predictions for all major categories below.
1. Drama Series
- Severance WINNER
- Andor
- The Diplomat
- The Last of Us
- Paradise
- The Pitt
- Slow Horses
- The White Lotus
While every drama series mentioned above are potent, Severance leads the race. With its gripping storyline, strong performance, and twists and turns at every step, the drama series certainly deserves the Emmy award this year. Not only Beebom, but fans and critics are also calling it a lock for the win on X (formerly called Twitter).
2. Lead Actor in a Drama Series
- Sterling K. Brown, Paradise
- Gary Oldman, Slow Horses
- Pedro Pascal, The Last of Us
- Adam Scott, Severance
- Noah Wyle, The Pitt WINNER
If I had the option to be biased, I would have chosen Pedro Pascal; he is, after all, my favorite. However, I am supposed to pick the most deserving candidate from the list, so I would go for Noah Wyle from The Pitt. He is the frontrunner in this category; he is the primary reason why the medical drama series became so popular that no one gets tired of talking about it.
3. Lead Actress in a Drama Series
- Kathy Bates, Matlock WINNER
- Sharon Horgan, Bad Sisters
- Britt Lower, Severance
- Bella Ramsey, The Last of Us
- Keri Russell, The Diplomat
Kathy Bates is the eldest actress to bag an Emmy nomination in this category. Apart from this, her performance also earned her nominations for the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards. In an interview, Bates stated that Madlock brought back her faith in the television series. She gave her full efforts to make her onscreen character a success. Therefore, she is the most deserving actress to take the award home.
4. Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
- Zach Cherry, Severance
- Walton Goggins, The White Lotus WINNER
- Jason Isaacs, The White Lotus
- James Marsden, Paradise
- Sam Rockwell, The White Lotus
- Tramell Tillman, Severance
- John Turturro, Severance
Walton Goggins is a versatile actor who deserves every bit of praise. He has the ability to embody even the most complex and dark characters. The one who shocked the fandom with his portrayal of Ghoul in Amazon Prime’s Fallout, also surprised everyone by playing the moody Rick Hatchett in the third season of The White Lotus. He is surely expected to bag the Emmy Awards for the Best Supporting Actor category.
5. Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
- Patricia Arquette, Severance
- Carrie Coon, The White Lotus
- Katherine LaNasa, The Pitt WINNER
- Julianne Nicholson, Paradise
- Parker Posey, The White Lotus
- Natasha Rothwell, The White Lotus
- Aimee Lou Wood, The White Lotus
Next, we have the Best Supporting Actress category, and the competition here is certainly tough with four nominations from the same television show, ie. The White Lotus. However, The Pitt’s Katherine LaNasa overshadowed every nominee in the Supporting Actress category. She is the heart of the standout medical drama, who anchors the emotional depth of the narrative.
6. Comedy Series
- Abbott Elementary
- The Bear
- Hacks
- Nobody Wants This
- Only Murders in the Building
- Shrinking
- The Studio WINNER
- What We Do in the Shadows
The Studio is one of the hilarious shows that has ever existed. So, it’s evident that it is considered a frontrunner that can win the Emmys 2025 in this category. It has bagged 23 nominations at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, provoking every cinephile to watch it. No wonder the show has been renewed for another season already.
7. Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
- Adam Brody, Nobody Wants This WINNER
- Seth Rogen, The Studio
- Jason Segel, Shrinking
- Martin Short, Only Murders in the Building
- Jeremy Allen White, The Bear

8. Lead Actress in a Comedy Series
- Uzo Aduba, The Residence
- Kristen Bell, Nobody Wants This
- Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary
- Ayo Edebiri, The Bear
- Jean Smart, Hacks WINNER
Well, this is not the first time Jean Smart has been nominated for Emmys. She has won the award three times for portraying Deborah Vance, and this is the fourth time she is leading the race. Jean Smart’s character in the series received universal acclaim and made the actress a sensation.
9. Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
- Ike Barinholtz, The Studio
- Colman Domingo, The Four Seasons
- Harrison Ford, Shrinking WINNER
- Jeff Hiller, Somebody Somewhere
- Ebon Moss-Bachrach, The Bear
- Michael Urie, Shrinking
- Bowen Yang, Saturday Night Live
Harrison Ford is one of the highest-grossing actors who has appeared in several high-profile shows, including Indiana Jones. He has won several awards and earned nominations for the Golden Globe and the Screen Actors Guild Award. However, this is the first time he has been nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of ‘Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.’ Critics and the global audience say that the actor’s best performance is captured in Shrinking, so it’s obvious Ford stands out as the frontrunner in this category.
