The first trailer of Daredevil Born Again Season 2 has just been released, and while the clip in itself does not reveal a lot about the plot, we do get our first official look at Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. Other than that, we get a few clips where we get to see Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, confirming that when Daredevil threw him off the roof, he did not die.
Looking at the trailer, it also appears that the Anti-Vigilante Task Force is growing on people, and Wilson Fisk has succeeded in his mission of taking over the city completely. One of the burning questions regarding Daredevil Born Again Season 2 is the involvement of Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher. However, while it may be a bit disappointing for some fans, The Punisher will not return in Daredevil Born Again Season 2.
The primary reason for his absence in the upcoming season is Jon Bernthal’s future apperance in a dedicated Punisher Special Presentation. Moreover, the story of the upcoming season is already packed with an already set arc and Jessica Jones’ apperance so it makes sense practically for him not being a part of the upcoming season.

What Could Be the Plot of Daredevil Born Again Season 2?
Season 2 has a pretty self-explanatory plot if you think about it. In Season 1, we saw that Kingpin successfully established a sort of dictatorship in New York City. Daredevil is defeated, Frank is captured, and in the final moments of the season, we see Matt get back up and realize that to give New York its freedom back, he is going to need an army, and as far as speculation goes, this army could be The Hand or the Defenders, but we can’t say anything with absolute certainty.
However, the upcoming season will most certainly revolve around Daredevil and his allies taking back New York City, but there could also be some implications that may lead to the events of The Punisher Special Presentation, so let’s wait and see what Marvel has in store for us.
