How to Arm Wrestle in Crimson Desert
Arm wrestling is first introduced during Chapter I Crimson Desert quest ‘Where Rumors Gather’. Here, you have to arm wrestle a guard to progress the quest. But, once you finish this quest, you can return to any tavern and challenge others to an arm wrestling match. Here is what you need to do to arm wrestle in Crimson Desert:
- Look for the arm wrestling host in the tavern and press the ‘R’ key when near them.
- Now, press ‘E’ to participate. You will need to stake money before you can join the challenge.
- The Arm Wrestling will now begin, and winning will double your money while losing will lose them.
- To arm wrestle, you will have to press two keys, ‘E’ and ‘R’. The key ‘E’ has to be button-mashed all the time, while the key ‘R’ needs to be pressed at the correct moment.
- Pressing the ‘E’ will keep you in the fight, while correctly timing the ‘R’ presses will give you a big lead on the enemy.
- When you overwhelm your opponent by pushing the red bar all the way to the right by button-mashing the ‘E’ key and correctly timing the ‘R,’ you can win the game. Vice versa, if the red bar completely reaches your side, then you lose the match.
How to Win Every Arm Wrestling Challenge
Winning the Crimson Desert arm wrestling challenge is basically all about your timing and button-mashing skills. Still, there are a few tips and tricks you can follow to win them every time:
- First, make sure your dominant hand’s finger is the one button-mashing, while the other is used to time the ‘R’ presses. Do not use the fingers from the same hand for this mini-game.
- Focus on timing your ‘R’ presses more than button-mashing. You can simply win by correctly hitting the timings alone.
- Press the ‘R’ a second before you see the line enter the timing bar area. This method allowed me to time it correctly every time for three consecutive matches.
