Best Sniper Loadouts in Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded

Sniping has always been a central part of the Call of Duty multiplayer experience, and Black Ops 6 is no different. While the latest CoD doesn’t feature a wide assortment of Snipers, the weapons it does have are incredibly satisfying to use. Due to the smaller size of BO6 maps as compared to Warzone, the meta Snipers can dish out a ton of damage while also boasting quick ADS times. If you’re wondering about the best weapons in this class, here are the best Sniper loadouts to try out in Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded.

1. SVD

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Magazine: Fast Mag I
  • Comb: Quickdraw Riser
  • Fire Mods: 7.62x54MMR Overpressured

The SVD, or the Dragunov, has been a staple of the franchise for years, and Black Ops 6 features its best iteration yet. The Sniper’s semi-automatic fire rate instantly makes it stand out from the crowd, and it pairs that attribute with one-shot kills in the upper torso region. Another feather in the SVD’s cap is its excellent handling, which results in best-in-class ADS times

Our loadout boosts the weapon’s damage range and mobility, making it even smoother to operate. On top of this, it increases the SVD’s bullet velocity so it feels more precise across the board. When equipped with these Attachments, the Sniper is capable of dominating lobbies.

2. AMR Mod 4

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I
  • Rear Grip: Commando Grip
  • Laser: Strelok Laser

The AMR Mod 4 was an absolute sensation when it made its debut during Season 1 Reloaded. Being the spiritual successor to the iconic Barrett .50 Cal, the Sniper hit like a truck, all while offering a steady semi-automatic fire rate. It’s a classic high-kick nature meant that the weapon had a distinct old-school feel to it, and it climbed the BO6 meta upon arrival. However, its stock has dropped considerably with recent updates, especially as the SVD’s damage profile has seen significant improvements.

Despite all that, the AMR Mod 4 still ranks high among the best Snipers in the game. Make sure to equip the Attachments listed above to get the best out of the weapon.

3. LW3A1 Frostline

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Comb: Quickdraw Riser
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Laser: Strelok Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

The LW3A1 Frostline is a classic bolt-action Sniper that packs a hefty punch but is quite sluggish when it comes to the fire rate. Its biggest drawback is the ADS speed, which, despite a handling buff in Season 2, still falls behind the competition. Ultimately, the Sniper is best-suited for seasoned players with precise aim who can make the most of its firepower.

As for our recommended loadout, it aims to improve the LW3A1 Frostline’s handling, making it more viable for quickscoping. Additionally, the Sniper’s fire rate is also improved thanks to the Rapid Fire mod.

4. LR 7.62

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Handguard
  • Magazine: Fast Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip

The LR 7.62 fares much better in Warzone than it does in Black Ops 6. Due to the frenetic and high-octane nature of BO6 multiplayer, this heavy-duty Sniper struggles to keep up with weapons like the SVD. And despite being so poor at handling, the LR 7.62 isn’t packed with raw power either. It can still one-shot enemies if you target the upper leg and lower torso regions, but don’t expect any quickscoping potential from this Sniper.

5. HDR

  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Magazine: Fast Mag 1
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Heavy Stock
  • Fire Mods: 108mm Overpressured

Just like the LR 7.62, the HDR is another heavy-duty Sniper that simply isn’t well-suited to the multiplayer’s breakneck combat loop. For all of its dominance in Warzone, the HDR struggles when it comes to close-quarters engagements due to its comparatively poor handling. On top of this, the weapon was hit with an ADS speed nerf in the Season 3 Reloaded update, which all but buries its chance of climbing the BO6 meta.

Our loadout boosts its damage potential using the CHF Barrel, making it a bit more forgiving. But it all comes at the cost of ADS speeds, an area in which the HDR is already lacking. The Sniper can still consistently provide one-shot kills in the upper torso and upper arms regions. However, so can the Frostline and SVD, all while offering better handling.

That wraps up our list of the best Sniper loadouts in Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded. Which Sniper on the list is your go-to? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
